3 RepliesI'm very happy with my purchase and all previous Destiny related purchases. I've wasted more for less on other games. Example. Age of Conan
-
7 RepliesRoI could have been free and people still would complain.
-
I feel the money was worth it. No other game has had me come back as much has destiny has. I really enjoy the social part of destiny, just raiding, or playing trials with my friends. I've made more friends to play with on destiny than I have any other game
-
Parts of this game I find annoying (gun balance and sbmm) But I've more than got my moneys worth out of this game. Its the only game I've bought in over a year. I normally go though 5-6 games during the same time period.
-
All of these "expansions" should of been $5-10 TOPS, if not for free.
-
4 RepliesI've played RoI for weeks. Can't say that about any other AAA titles for $60.
-
Love how all of you think complaining after the fact will do you any good. You guys are all going to buy Destiny 2 and you're going to hate it.
-
Definatley worth a solid 20$

4 RepliesEdited by amandajc808: 11/28/2016 3:25:55 PMTbh does it really matter nit picking over 10-15 Bucks when loads of people spent far more on Festival of the losers? 😂
-
Meh I definitely got my moneys worth and more for it.
-
12 RepliesIt was well worth it. I can spend over 30 dollars for a 2 hour movie and that's all I get. I got many more hours of entertainment out of RoI and that's what it boils down to: is it entertaining? If it is, play on and enjoy yourself. If it isn't, move on to something else.
-
I am still enjoying it. I feel the price was fair.
-
I'm not going to argue its worth. I bought it because I loved playing Destiny and new content is always appreciated. What I don't appreciate is FotL being 80% microtransactions.
-
It was worth $5
-
I love how they said they would be supporting us with frequent updates similar to the April update, and so far we haven't gotten shit.
-
Nah, you must be confused with how much your mom is worth.
-
As single player content, Rise of Iron was overpriced at $30. However, multiplayer games are no fun unless other people are playing. The $30 is the price you pay if you want to play the game before finding a raid team is impossible. As the population drops, so does the value. It's the same reason PSN was selling Star Wars: Battlefront for $8 and Amazon sold the game + the season pass for $20. Based on my roster of friends playing Destiny, Rise of Iron should see a price drop soon.
-
I didn't even care about the new content, knew it would be trash. Just wanted to continue playing trials with friends and apparently I have to pony up some money every few months to do that heh.

8 RepliesEdited by GrayWulf25: 11/28/2016 3:27:29 PMAnything is only worth what someone is willing to pay. There is no other objective measure of true value
-
It's worth far more to me than the $30 it cost compared to most things I've spent $30 on in the past.

Edited by PhantomLink: 11/28/2016 5:26:13 PMAt this point who cares? I can only speak for myself but I've gotten more than my money's worth from Destiny as a whole.

3 RepliesI love Destiny, but you are right, hopefully we get another update like the last April Update or something before Destiny 2, AT LEAST. SIVA version of Challenge of Elders, would be fun for a week or two, I know its not all that, but wouldn't be to bad to get, lol. Add a new strike or two to the SIVA crisis list, plus reskinned Nexus. Bring the old raids back. Update Archon Forge, with a yellow SIVA Offering (since we already have green, blue and purple). Add more boss encounters, with named bosses, (like Court of Oryx had) with new Grimoire cards, or some kind of Challenge to it at least. Not looking forward to SRL at all.

I try to look at it as a year subscription fee. Ask someone on a legacy console what it's like to play Destiny now. Do I think it was over priced... yes, but I paid it so there's no point in dwelling on it.

Edited by GuardianzofWar: 11/28/2016 5:50:11 PMHad they designed the game better in the first place we would be on the second part of this game already. Not another expansion. I really like this game ,but the hold ups with the game design make Bungie seem incompetent at times.

Cheapest dlc I've seen yet.

Edited by ARCHER444: 11/28/2016 5:20:47 PMIt's worth what people are willing to pay for it- plain and simple. Whether they liked it or not is a different ball game. I'll agree, the amount of content was rather disappointing, but I'm used to Destiny releasing pitifully small, re-skinned DLC's. If they would have charged anything over $30 I probably wouldn't have bought it. Do I feel I got my money's worth- you bet! I had a blast whipping through the DLC and raid, got some nice gear (love the new IB gear!) and put some time into some fun private matches. But I'm done with the game for now (reached 400 on all characters, completed all raid challenges, and completed my book) and will eagerly await another DLC. Until then, I'm enjoying Titanfall 2, BF1, Dishonored, Tales from the Borderlands, and even started a new toon on Borderlands 2.
