Nearly 2 weeks not playing this game. I feel more free than ever now. I go outside and talk to the people. I am getting more done in general. My outlook on life is better now. I highly recommend everyone takes extended breaks from playing. It will do you all a world of good.

2 RepliesI actually have a week of from college and I haven't been on, which is a surprise because of my playtime but I've been enjoying the finer things in life. Like Double XP weekend in pokemonGo. I check these forums from time to time to read: Hunter crying posts Trials DDos experience How terrible PVP is How bad the nightfall strike is Lfg requirements Stupid montages Lighthouse carry posts Weapon nerfs Shotgun rants Sbmm It's entertaining material when using the restroom.

I just end up getting frustrated anymore. I basically only get on to help my friends with trials anymore.
-
If playing Destiny stopped you from going outside and interacting with other people, I don't think that's Bungie's fault.
-
I know most of these are shitposts, but if anyone is serious about actually feeling better about life and themselves by not playing a videogame, it really sounds like there's some deeper mental health issues there and I encourage you to seek whatever help you're comfortable with.

2 weeks huh? AA usually waits 30 days before you get a sobriety chip.

7 RepliesStopped playing about Rise of Iron launch. Titanfall and Halo: reach reminded me what good gaming was.

You didn't go outside and talk to people before? What is wrong with this community I swear.

Hey me too. I finally decided to buy GTA V and then pokemon came out. It's nice to take a break.

I wouldn't say I'm destiny free but Ive been taking longer and longer breaks. Finding other stuff to do. Started an instagram taking photos of toys just for the hell of it. I enjoy the game but I'm burnt out. Waiting for srl.

13 RepliesJesus christ. We're going at it again with the indirect post stating, "I quit Destiny, give me attention" And yes, I know I'm giving the post attention, don't be a smartass and state the obvious sweetpeas.

Edited by Annihilator_HD: 11/26/2016 8:29:11 AMHow much did u waste your time on destiny if it makes you so much happier now? It's all about balance in life bro, all in moderation

I stopped for about 7 months actually, right as trials for taken king was released I went flawless on my characters and quit because it got boring, then seeing taken armor on YouTube got me back on. I regret it

I agree. Always good to have a nice break, especially if you played lots daily. I'm on another break. I don't want to go back into it playing as muh as before either. Probably will come back just for the year 3 moments of triumph and check out events like SRL.
