I'd just like to point out that I'm only sharing a video that was uploaded to TWITCH, intended for public viewing. I'm not saying any names I'm just saying watch this video, at the ten minute mark you'll hear "so what just boot them" and then more things like "I'll give you 20 dollars if you kick them" and somebody asking who their internet service provider is.
I got disconnected in the 4th round just after he ended the stream, then my friend too right at the end of the game at the last kill just a bit too late. You can see the guy who is AFK probably on a computer.
This is my friends POV
https://youtu.be/DIbRistH_Aw
It's on my recent games on guardian.gg where you can see me and my friend as deserters, the one where I have a 2.67.
These guys are quite highly ranked so probably been playing like this for a long time, I'm not accusing them of anything but what do you think to the videos? Just bad connection? It could be anything.
I'd also like to say disconnects can happen all the time in Destiny, a lot of people will DC and assume it's an attack when it's very likely something else caused it. Teams that we play against will have a player lag out against us sometimes and none of the people I play with cheat and I always think "damn I bet they're going to report us".
So don't get too riled up because it can happen :) Destiny is a great game and this is the first time in all the Trials I've played that I've had a situation like this, it can happen to anybody playing any game it's not just a Destiny thing and Trials is certainly a great playlist to me.

61 RepliesI have explained this countless times to people feeling the need to be heroes messaging me and coming into my stream, just boot them refers to extra people annoying us in our party, any other thought is manipulating my words for your benefit, also how can you take one side of the story that has little to no evidence and use that as fact? Makes no sense

9 RepliesHi everyone!! If you think that this person(I don't know his name I think it's vVduklinVv??) is a cheater you are wrong whatch the video. He isn't doing it the other person is I think fuzzogz or whatever like it might be a crime to not stop a person from doing this but that's a whole different story then accusing duklin of it. Anyone who has a problem can catch my hands😇

1 ReplyCan a Bungie employee please review this and give the community some clarity here? This is not naming and shaming it's alerting of obvious foul play.

13 RepliesEdited by Jinx: 11/21/2016 1:06:18 AMIn truth the easiest solution by far is the one that they won't use because everyone is too much of an elitist. I'm not saying that as an insult, I'm just saying that it is provably true. Just have every ticket only valid for 24 hours from time of purchase. To make it to light house, you have to win 10 rounds during that time period. Reality? Guys. The majority of what Destiny considers "average" players will not manage 10 wins anyway given the hard core players attracted to that game mode, and will probably get sick of the sweaty bull long before they make it to the light house. Make it something that anyone can form a fire team and grind their through and you'll remove the incentive. "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! THIS IS ONLY FOR THE BEST OF THE.." Doesn't really matter to me one way or another to be honest. I work every weekend 16 hour shifts. I have played it all of once because I had to take off for surgery, and was bored the whole time so it doesn't matter to me either way. The choice is really yours. Would you rather loose some of the exclusivity of the Lighthouse? Or would you rather every match be a mess of sweaty paid carries and cheaters? You can have it one way or the other but you're never going to have both. Personally? I still, and have always, felt that it should be a 1v1 elimination system. That way there is no paid carries, and if you eliminate "disconnect for network reasons" as being counted as either a win or a loss for either side, you have just eliminated the benefit of DDOS cheating and believe it or not, lagging really only helps you out if your on a fire team nine times out of ten. Only down side is you have to rely entirely on your own ability. Gods forbid. Well, let the hate flow. But in advance I respect your opinions that the lighthouse should be this exclusive thing for elites. I'm not saying that it shouldn't be. I'm just saying you will never get to have that without the paid carries and cheating that goes with it. If it's not lagswitching it's ddosing, if it's not ddos it will be something else. This is the system you are choosing to live in by embracing exclusivity. That's all I'm saying.

2 RepliesHappened to us this past weekend. And two of the three of us are trash in the Crucible, just running matches for the bounties and to finish out our ROI Books. Sort of holding our own against the opposing team, then all of a sudden all connections immediately went from green to red and our party chat sounded like we were all under water. The fireteam leader pulled us out immediately as she recognized what was happening. Completely lame.

My 2 cents... This crap doesn't happen in BF or Titanfall because EA knows how to deliver good PvP experience (yes at a higher cost) Bungie cannot detect DoS attack due to the nature of P2P networks games like Destiny. Top tier streamers attract new cash cows for Bungie so they will never be penalized or banned. I have seen crap streamers who are being used as floor mops in normal crucible but their followers are in thousands because of weirder reasons than trials carries that I don't even want to discuss. The only reasone this streaming community is allowed to cheat is because of free marketing Bungie gets from them.
-
34 RepliesBungie be like Honest players are not supposed to go to the lighthouse. It's for cheaters only. Trials working as intended and there is nothing to fix here.
-
I wouldn't be surprised either way. Cheaters always roam the highest ranks in things, that being said destiny networking end has proven to have no shortage of issues lol.

Edited by Flash aka Dan: 11/23/2016 5:43:33 AMHaving one person lag out is something that happens, I dont think I have ever had a game where two people lag out. That is so unlikely unless it is an attack specifically on you. Anyone need a legit carry XB1: Flash aka Dan

Bump. Farming Elo is kinda sad, cheating to go flawless is pathetic. You and your boy should be embarrassed.

12 RepliesIt's already bad with people paying up to 100 dollars for 1x flawless card, a lot of people really don't know what DDosing is. For many that don't know, DDosing is a network attack through one persons router to another, causing a disruption in their internet service temporarily. In most cases, the easiest way to Ddos is by ip flooding. How to know when you're being ip flooded? you load into the match, and out of nowhere your screen starts saying Attention: Contacting Destiny Servers. Once you've lagged out of the match, the ddosers will simply stop flooding your IP and your network will return to its original state. Most of these occurrences lead to the error code 'weasel', which is quite common from ddos attacks. NOTE: Weasel is not always the effect of a Ddos! Weasel error codes can occur through packet loss from your network, which would inevitably kick you out of the destiny servers. Hope this helped a good portion of you. But please guys, don't consider every lag-out a ddos. Just understand that the Internet isn't perfect and sometimes it can just pull things out of its butt.. It's normal.

DESTINY's PvP ONLY DEPENDS ON THE COMBINATION OF INTERNET CONNECTIONS, after that skills. So it depends with which internet connections/ region you are playing with or against. Latency can be with- or against you. Some combinations of players are always on the good side of latency in P2P. I think that 60% of all Destiny PvP players are good players. So how can players with Max Grimoire, all OP weapons, very good knowledge of maps, spawns, etc. and 1000+ hours Crucible loose 5-0 with total 0 kills from "average" players? THIS IS ONLY POSSIBLE IN DESTINY in a 2016 FPS.

The evidence is as plausible as it gets listen to this guy running to cover his tracks like an inmate who just escaped prison. He even deleted the stream does that not tell you of him and his friends wrong doing? If these dropkicks do not recieve atleast a character reset than bungee has no morals or honour.

The last time I was ddosd my Internet was dropped to .267 kb/s down .13 kb/s up for about 2-3 hours :/ After about a half hour of not being able to connect to anything really besides PsN, but not being able to use any of the features I checked http://www.digitalattackmap.com The midwest, more specifically St.Louis where I live was pinpointed on that map by about 50 or so different locations around the world.

a ddos completely boots you offline; your internet literally goes down momentarily.

5 Repliesto all of u who ddos. keep -blam!-ing with me😂 since you like to take the time out to boot me out of trials im about to start taking the time out to find your ip address and your home just to kick your ass. Bunch of bitches. And bungie stop being -blam!-ing stupid and add a rejoin option u hoes.
