You're acting like toddlers.

Really, you are. I don't mean this in a rude way, but this is exactly how a toddler would act. They'd want something, and they'd go and whine to the parents. The parents would say no, and y'know what the toddler would do? Cry. Throw a fit. Scream. Either the parent gives them what they want, making life worse for the parent and toddler, or they wait for the toddler to get over it. You're also acting like an angsty teen. Once they're done wanting it, they mope about how the parents give them nothing, even if they're trying to provide. Even if the parent explains why they can't have it, they'll continue moping, sometimes yelling at the parent. Now on to the moral. Treat Bungie like your partner, and give them some space. Let them do what they see fit, and if you're not a fan, be civilized and bring up what's wrong. If it's a mutual agreement that something should be changed, they'll change it. Don't insult them. TL;DR: Relax. Please. EDIT: You guys can stop responding to this post. It's irrelevant in #destiny, honestly.

  • When you've burned 120+ dollars into the game, I think you have the right to criticize, however you want

    • In the escalation of community wide insults:
You're acting like toddlers.
is milquetoast at best. At the low end are "crybabies". At the high end are "you young people today". I've seen a lot of hate directed toward millenials, but as a former Gen-Xer, I know it's a moving target. But I digress, OP had some point to make:
Don't insult them.
Seems like OP kinda' $#@% the bed with that message.

    • I haven't been complaining, but I don't think you understand how consumerism works. You're telling people who have put upwards of 150+ dollars into this game that they are acting like toddlers. Toddlers who haven't bought a single thing, who have everything bought for them. These people have a right to complain. They invest into a product only for the creators of that project to ruin it and make it worse than it already is. These people are spending THEIR MONEY on something that they appear to care more about than the developers. Are people complaining a lot? Yes Are they in the wrong? No.

lol, I've paid for the product so I can do whatever I want (incl. criticizing) unless its against the terms and conditions , the customers of the company I work for also venting all their product problems on me altgough its not my fault , dealing with this shit it what being professional means , and by this lame bungie defending attempt you are indirectly implying that bungie aren't professional enough to deal with customers but they are professionals (I hope) , so don't defend them like this , because they don't care that you defend em so you just waste your time , and we keep on doing what we do regardless

People have been giving bungie constructive criticism for the past year and a half who want sbmm gone. They have been patient, they have been respectful, and they have been civil. Bungie chose to ignore them over that time period, and this is what happens. You can't blame people for rising to the occasion when they feel their voices are being kept silent. People are fed up, not just with sbmm, but the lack of communication from bungie as well.

                • Except very often Bungie won't acknowledge our concern's of the buff/nerf meta and SBMM, so your claim that Bungie is our partner is false. Bungie is a company, intent on providing a service in exchange for maximum profits. And your analogy is bunk. You realize we don't PAY our parents for any service right? The way we pay Bungie for a service? If a large chunk of the community appears unsatisfied with said service, they have the right to complain Get off your damn high horse

                    • Do you realise that the second that we, as a community, stop bitching about this game and criticising it, we're allowing the developers to get lazy, right? Obviously game devs don't have to listen to the community because, yes, it is their game. However, that doesn't mean that we shouldn't provide whatever criticism we can. A company's foremost priority is the community. If they ignore the community, their game will not sell. Look at No Man's Sky. They made a game that Sean himself said would be boring and unappealing to the masses. Now, look where that got them. Even Call of Duty takes feedback. Black Ops III took out SBMM within days of complaint. Infinite Warfare removed microtransactions as a whole. Bungie is no different. If we don't criticise them, they won't change anything. This game would still be as shit as it was in Year 1.
Don't try to convince me it was good. Everyone looks at it with rose tinted glasses because it was the old days. They don't realise the huge mistakes with it, like the Cryptarch that gave blues from legendary engrams, or the flawed levelling system that took weeks to gain one level (#Forever29).
If we want gaming to be successful as an industry and to be sold good, solid games with lots of content, we have to bitch. We have to complain, and we have to criticise. Game companies don't have anyone to hold them accountable, unless we give feedback. So, kindly, shut the fuсk up. Your delusional idea of "not whining" will ruin the gaming industry altogether.

Except over the past year people have been consistently providing well-constructed feedback in Feedback, and not once has Bungie communicated with us. Granted there've been baseless posts, but there are those who have provided well-supported evidence for decent posts and Bungie never responded to those. Then it takes the spamming of "Remove SBMM" in both Destiny and Feedback for our hard-working community manager to finally give us a "response". It wasn't even to acknowledge the issues, he just gave us an example of a "good" feedback post which wasn't even feedback. It was just Sols' explaining how matchmaking works and agreeing with Bungie. That was it. Deej was basically saying all previous threads with good support and evidence were for naught because good feedback is when you agree with Bungie's design decisions and flaws and don't call for change for the better. People have put up with Bungie's lack of transparency and communication for far too long, and they just so happened to have gotten tired of it. They have given Bungie space for over a year, and nothing good has come of it regarding SBMM. That is all.

"treat Bungo like your partner" LMFAO You're a consumer of a product. There is no partnership implied with your purchase. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may ask for an improvement. Kinda like if you're steak is undercooked, you can send it back to get it a little more to your liking. I rarely do that, but I'd definitely complain about SBMM. Why? Well, because at a restaurant, you know you're eating out next meal and going on your way. With Destiny, you're going to be dealing with crucible for as long as you play. With Bungo, if you don't bitch until blue in the face, all you get is Deej's (or Luke Smith, etc... Take your pick) middle finger. Bitching incessantly is the only thing that gets Bungo's attention, and that's unfortunate. So thanks for your two cents, but you're 100% wrong and I don't mind telling you so. We are both entitled to our own opinions as consumers of the product.

This is what happens when you ignore the masses. Bungo could have addressed this shit at anytime. Did they? Nope. Deej made a snarky post about good feedback instead. All they stated, was that bungo only views feedback that's favorable towards what they've already done, as good feedback. THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS!
