"I've got to go. Time is up." Pan's eyes go back to normal as a large smile fills her face. She's extremely excited...and loud. "Isn't he awesome?!"

I put on a smile. "Yeah, he's pretty great." The statement was false. He seemed pretty... Bothered. Like he needed some form of help. Guess I'll have to find out more later.

"We've been stuck like this for months. Of course, I only remember a few weeks of it. Sometimes he shares stories of what we did in those months."
-
"Huh. Care to share one with me? Just to get a better sense of who you are?"
-
"Sure! Well, in one of the early months, when we weren't as merged together personality wise, we were getting chased by an agent from the people who did this to us. I had recently been injured in a fight so we were resting in a small village. The people gave me shelter and helped me heal, but not soon after we arrived the agent arrived. The people protected my defensless form despite my wishes for them to run away. The agent slaughtered them with ease. The screams...in my extreme distress I fought the agent even with my injuries. I managed to scare him off, but the village was completely destroyed from the conflict. I would've helped, but my wounds were too great and the agent would return so I left. I know it's not the happiest or most heroic story, but it reminds me to keep my distance from people."

"Damn. Well, you've shared one of your stories, want me to share one of mine?"

Pan perks up. "Yes, father! I'd love to hear a story."
