signs you've been dos attacked
this has become a very hot topic, everyday ill see another saying they were attacked. and they lost there match. yes it happens but not as frequent as people say on here.
was it an attack or was just a network error?
today im going tell you how you can tell if youve truly been attacked.
1st you'll see your now offline.
2nd it will be hard to get back online, without messing with your connection.
3rd unless you have a separate internet for your console, youll see your entire house become corrupted.
4th all internet linked to the account( wifi devices connected) will be slower or not work when connected to the attacked modem
5th this wont go away on its own
6th you must cleanse the attacked internet device(modem or router, or central wired system) the easiest way is to reset it. if that doesnt work then you were hit by someone who has planted a seed into you device which it assessed your internet from. you must reset that device to get rid that seed
next time you get lagged out of a game just loose connection, but everything else in your house works know you werent attacked just a connection issue. these are common when large memory is being sent through your signal to another then going back ( in that cycle ). it sucks but it happens when theres a strain on the two connects it cuts one end off.

Had it happen three weeks ago. Everything in my house disconnected. I thought my Internet just went out until my friend messaged me because he experienced the same thing. Our third teammate was in for one round with them, won by himself, and then got kicked too. Pulled them up on trials report and they were on a seven win streak with 4 kills total all negative kd's. It's pretty obvious when it happens. Pretty hilarious when they still had to kick our third to win though.

Me and my friends were -blam!-ing around in ToO by us all using only Telesto. We each got kicked out of the game one by one. Annoyed me when they didn't even need to cheat to beat us there, unless they were really that bad...

I was with people that thought they got DOS'd but they were able to use the router for everything else just fine.

I understand that ppl cheat on trials because they can make a profit. But why on earth some ppl do it on crucible? Is losing so traumatic event for someone that when your team is losing in clash 3k - 8k your 4man fireteams connections suddenly go from solid green to traffic lights :'D

2 RepliesWell then... I did get DoS'd in Trials yesterday. I got error code bee, then weasel. After that I got kicked offline and my whole house's internet shut off. We had to reset the router and modem 3 times before our wifi was back up.

Yesterday some guy was clearly modding cause none of us could fire our shotguns when in his vicinity, truly glitchy. Trials has been super glitchy the past day, fix your shit bungie

There is more than just ddos getting people kicked from trials. There are third party websites like ps4 prank that msg spam the player which will result in being kicked back to orbit.

Hasn't happened to me yet however 3 friends have been booted on ps4 by msg spam in the last 3 weeks.

Yeah my buddy got DOSd we were helping someone and on our 8-0 game he got kicked completely offline. The top k/d of the team we were playing was .92 so I actually warned my team and sure enough kicked. Luckily our next game the entire team just bailed and suicided.

Twice this weekend. I was in a game where the whole enemy team was redbaring and my teammate was kicked. We still managed to beat them 4-5. We still managed to go flawless
