The Clever Dragon meta is nearly upon us
After next week I'm pretty sure this will become the most used weapon in the crucible. Once you obtain a half decent roll (which is pretty easy to do with this gun) there will be literally no point in using any other primary. I dare say this gun will top the weapons used chart on guardian.gg by a considerable margin!

Give bungie just a Month and they patch the whole archetype. So all our Grasps and Clever dragons wil be obsolete. Why they Patch this? Because the million complain Threads will start at all social networks............. My opinion? Buff Lower Rof Archetypes........ bring back my Red Death :(

I got one clever dragon to drop and it came with braces frame, armor piercing rounds, and counterbalance. My only clever dragon, and it came with that roll. I like to consider myself somewhat of a beast.

I'll stick with my grasp, even just a high stability one is better than a God roll clever dragon. I have both gins which are great, but grasp just edges it out. Imho

12 RepliesYeah it will be. All you need hand laid/braces frame for it to be an absolute laser beam. Things range stat is a straight up lie...I have hand laid stock & I sniiiiipe people with it lol it's great. By far my favorite pulse rifle in the game... But it'll die down. Just like when mida when brought up & xur sold it. Or when Omnigul was nightfall w. Solar burn. It'll be popular for awhile..couple weeks at least. I'm excited to grab a better roll though. I want one w. Counterbalance, braced & high caliber. That thing will shred. Mine has hand laid//appended mag//head seeker & it's still a beast.

I have one with braced frame, hcr, and glass half full. The reduced mag size from brace frame really sucks. Id rather keep the original mag size. Glass half full/headseeker wont make a difference at all. Hcr is bae on this gun.

Should be fun.. finally a gun that doesnt give a crap about a special weapon meta. I have a roll with perfect balance, high caliber rounds and counterbalance. It shreds all.

I got one last month, it's good but I prefer other weapons, just the hype train pulling in again. Posts like this will only encourage more people to feel they have to use it.

The fact that it was a random drop and it still accounts for 5%+ of kills represents its dominance.
