The thing that really ticked me off was the fact that now we can get duplicates.
What was the reward for getting the duplicate? 3 silver dust?
For SRL and FotL 2015, you ALWAYS got something. But now with the chance of getting a duplicate, the odds are stacked against us even more.
Bungie won't cross the line they set. I don't think they'll ever sell actual weapons and armour from Eververse.
But they seem VERY determined to get as close as possible to it. Which is rather dissapointing and sucky.
That being said, at least it's all still cosmetic.

Those iron engrams are purchasable via silver DUST. And while we can only get 6 a week, it can still be purchased without spending a penny. I think they also drop from IB games, with a low chance. Same thing can be said for their rep boosters.

These things can be obtainable without spending a penny. If you were willing to spend money, you could get more. OR if you were willing to wait a week. Rather similar to Warframe. "Top tier armour." That armour is the EXACT same as every other set aside from the fantastic good look. It hardly provides an advantage over something grabbed from the engram. The only reason people would want them is nostalgia or because the armour looks so good.

Top tier meaning tier 12 gear could be acquired is what I wanted to point out. I do not want them to offer anything besides cosmetic items unless also obtainable via gameplay. This just seemed like it might be leaning a little bit away from just the cosmetic items. There is an article on Forbes talking about this. I agree with your earlier sentiments but was curious how the community felt about those iron engrams. First off, thank you for clearing "top tier." But I think that's still obtainable via other sets in the game. Or engrams. And all that's free. Just need to do some good old grinding. "Unless also obtainable via gameplay." Unless you're talking about something else, excuse everything I have to say at this point. Those iron engrams are obtainable via gameplay. IB games, and the 6 free silver dust per week (1 if you keep the ornament.) are potentially the only ways to obtain them for free. Eververse simply speeds up the process. In a way, it's a form of P2W, but it doesn't give any sort of massive advantage. Unless your in a fashion contest.

Appreciate your manners and how you conduct yourself on this somewhat toxic forum. I hardly ever post but its nice to have a conversation and it might get me to speak up in the future. I was referring to any new gear (etc) they might have, not just saladins stash. Hopefully they hear ppl like us saying 'keep it cosmetic please' as they develop future content :)

It'll happen eventually. I figure the April Update 2017. Soon enough we'll get Silver Keys and Silver points to go towards all the treasure boxes.
