This weekend Trials of Osiris was given a few modifiers: No Radar and No Revives. If you're having trouble getting wins and obtaining Flawless status, hopefully these tips will help.
Sound/Audio: Keep the volume to a minimal. This means music off and volume just loud enough to hear your opponents moving and shooting. Due to no radar, you and your teammates need to be as observant as possible! Also, be prepared for jump scares (SPIDERS)!
Jumping: Keep it to a minimal! Titans and Hunters have the loudest jumps so use it only when necessary! Do not use Blink! This is extremely loud and the enemies WILL hear you! For Titans: Don't skate, this will attract attention to you and your teammates. Use shoulder charge as an attack, not a boost. It reduces the sound of your team.
Supers: Don't use roaming supers. Because there is no radar, you won't know when to activate it. Enemies can easily hide in a corner and evade your attacks. Use one-instance supers (Ex. Nova Bomb). If you are adjusted to a specific playstyle with your Subclass do not switch unless you are positive you can perform well. Test things out!
Shaders: Yes, I said shaders. Because Cauldron is a dark map and enemies cant see you on the radar, it is the perfect opportunity to use black shaders (Super Black, Old Guard, Revenant) to camouflage!
Revives: No revives. So don't bother staying on an orb or rushing it. In fact STAY AWAY!! The enemy will be calling out your EVERY move to teammates so get out of view. These dead bodies are basically security cameras that record you so stay OUT OF SIGHT! Keep your distance from your teammates bodies but also LISTEN to their callouts!
Teamwork: You have two ears and one mouth for a reason. Listen to your team but also step up to be leader. Head their every order and you are sure to win.
Hope this helped! Good luck :)

Honestly just hold middle and hide in it. Also call out for your mates if your dead at all times

2 RepliesLFG: Just don't even try to use it, smh.

126 RepliesEdited by Ghostmime: 10/30/2016 9:34:52 AMDon't know if anyone agrees, but this is how trials should be every week. Edit: the main arguments against this are promotion of shotgun camping and "security camera" dead opponents. To me, it's called elimination for a reason. You were eliminated, why should you come back. Because of that, I like the no revives. The shotgun argument is just incorrect, based on what I saw this weekend. There have almost always been shotgunners in trials, and I saw no more or less last night.

4 RepliesWell, looks like my first flawless will absolutely not be this week lol..
-
2 Repliesquestion? i have never tried trials, because i do not like the elimination mode, but if i were, would a weapon that has radar active when ads still work in ads with the no radar....i only ask because i have not been in a no radar mode while using a always on radar gun; since i never got one i actually liked to use til now
-
When 90 percent of LFG groups suck, even these tips won't help. I agree on the blink especially, had this team all of em using blink, they always blinked into my shotgun lol
-
2 RepliesYou forgot the number #1 tip. - use a shotgun, nothing else.
-
1 ReplyTo bad me and my mates did all of those things and guess what when we got to 4 wins every match after that 400 light adept all weapons ext .. smh I -blam!-ing hate trials shit is not coo at all .. every freakin time man can't even get 5 wins wtf
-
Tip: make sure you have someone on your team that didn't kill someone that round so they can't wall hack call out on you. This means your attempt to 1v3 will be almost impossible.
-
Lol this was my first week for trials ever and I didn't have any volume on my tv and my team didn't use mics bc we were trying to only do bounties but we somehow went 7 and 3
-
2 Replies1 thing that could make Trials perfect with no revives: Add a spectator cam that only lets you watch your teammates when you die. The fact that dying in this Trials can give you the advantage of ALWAYS knowing where 1 of their 3 players are, and relaying that information to your surviving teammates, is just plain stupid. You're dead. You shouldn't be able to contribute anything more to the round when you are dead. Add a teammate spectator cam (kind of like in CoD Search and Destroy) and this version of Trials would be flawless imo.

Thanks for the tips. Sadly I have never been to the lighthouse and even with these tips I would need to find 2 guardians willing to play / carry me. lol.
-
1 Replythere should be 1v1 ToO with no radar.
-
1 ReplyRoaming supers actually work really well, in my experience, with corraling the opposing team into an area while your team comes up from behind. It works well on this map I think.
But I suck at Trials so...
Good tips!

Instructions unclear, caught my ghost in a toaster.

2 RepliesI love these trials, First time I got 5 wins, lol
-
I like the super tip. Very smart. Titan smash seems the best for this week, imo.
-
Will we still be able to get the new emblem next wknd?
-
If trials was 4v4 with no revives and with radar I think that would be perfect
-
I have mixed feelings about trials this weekend, but I think it really takes some getting used to. There's a lot more to watch out for.

1 ReplyTo add onto this, using Sunsinger self Rez is really nice this time around, because without the radar, the enemy either has to watch the orb and depending on how it's been placed he will be completely blind to any other attacks, or at least in a very disadvantaged spot. Or they completely ignore it, because they either done know where it is, or because they are chasing your teammates who are alive, giving you a free safe self Rez and flank. Another suggestion is for nightstalker, keen scout will make this run very much easier, combatting the no radar modifier. You'll be able to tell if the person ran away or is just crouching behind the wall, which is perfect because you can more effectively plan out your approach. Also recommend trespasser, but that's more just a personal opinion here

6 RepliesGTA or destiny?
-
6 RepliesI don't like how shotgun focused it is

On the camouflage part: that obnoxious green Halloween shader is actually perfect camouflage in the bone room. Literally could not see a guy except for his stag helmet it scared the shit outta me

I dont PvP but I know all good players have three things in common. Improvise, Adapt and Overcome.
