Should you be over 370? Two of my goons are 366 wondering if thats too low to try it. Thoughts?

Anyone down to do the normal raid on Ps4?
-
I went in as a 358 and came out 363. It was bearable and I was still nearing everyone else on damage leaderboards and I could clear ads just as easily as anyone else
-
I went in as 360 the first time I did the raid on normal and I came out 365. It's doable with the right team :3 still doing my second run lD or at least trying to
-
I recommend being at least 365 and knowing what to do.
-
I think you're good friend. And don't feel bad. My main (my Hunter) is 382 and I still have yet to run it. Only because I have had bad experiences with LFG and my clan never seems to be on anymore. #AloneWolf
-
Well at this point if u can run certain things effectively and save some of those exotics, you can hit 385+ from archons forge and heroic strikes. Try to hit 380
-
400. Must have hard raid emblem to do normal run. JK you'll be fine going in 365 :)
-
Just grind u up to light 400 and then do the raid, its more fun with max light
-
360 is completely fine, as long as you know what to do.
-
2 RepliesTry it at 365. Get a bunch of guys that have never done it and learn everything together. Take your time, expect wipes and stay chilled. It's not that difficult when you get the hang of it. Just keep communicating and you'll smash it
-
You need to be 400+, have hard mode emblem and dark drinker, also no squeakers or kids
-
1 ReplyThey're good, should be able to do vosik no problem. Zamboni could be hard, but then again it always is. For aksis, they will have a VERY hard time, but it is possible.
-
400+ with emblem, dual wield gally and sleeper + dark drinker in your mouth anime style. Don't forget ahead of the curve: siege of orgrimmar as well.
-
The first time I beat it was with 360's. 360 Plus is alright as long as they know what to do.
-
Hi 365 upwards is fine, as most said on this thread really depends on the group your with, players of a much lower level can be carried through. If you need any other info please message me. Peace out DGC Waxy
-
I'm still grinding strikes because I don't have as much free time as I used to for raids etc. I'm waiting until I hit 385 then I'll do normal so I can learn it stress free then go into hard
-
You can do it in 350s and I know some ppl went lower. 366 is more than enough. As soon as RoI dropped, everyone I know was working to 365 and we cleared it fine...think I was 364 at the start and 366 by the end.
Should you be over 370? Two of my goons are 366 wondering if thats too low to try it. Thoughts?
My First Time doing the raid Was when i Was 365

You guys rule, thanks for all the advice and funnt smartass comments. Feel free to friend me and we can squad up some time. Gamertag is same as the name Im on xbox one fat.

Grind strikes. Your light level isn't hard to increase to 385 right now. Practically everything will increase it. Vanguard/crucible/faction packages, legendary engrams, exotic engrams, heroic strikes, crucible rewards and skeleton key chests,

1 ReplyLooking over your raiding history, I hope you have a solid team of friends helping. You only have 4 raid completions total. Raids are by far the most fun and rewarding activity in Destiny. But they require teamwork and communication, along with the proper gear loadout and a solid leader for the group. I would strongly recommend the following for your situation: 1. Watch videos on the raid before attempting. Several different ones and really study them. 2. Be prepared. LL in your case, have as many at or above 370 in the group. 3. Weapons (solid primary, great sniper that is high impact, Rockets or Sword for a heavy). 4. Play on Normal Mode. 5. Have at least 2 or 3 experienced players with you that have completed the raid and can teach new players (if at all possible). Good luck and depending on your group, I would plan for at least 2-3 hours (with a strong group) and up to 8-9 hours with a weak group to complete.

Recommended light is 370, as far as I'm concerned if you have spent the time to get there ten people are welcome in my team, same for hard at 380+. Yes being higher makes it easier.
-
4 RepliesI advise taking a guide who knows their stuff-if you are on xbox i can help.
-
Yes, IMO you should be over 370. Unless you already have a raid team in mind you will need to LFG for a group. This late in the game odds are you wont find very many teams willing to take you in their team if you aren't at least 370 (I've seen groups asking for 380 plus).

I did it 347 lol

Edited by Le Shrimp: 10/30/2016 10:03:59 AMI started normal at 365-367 I believe and most of the other people were low 370s. I wasn't "carried" through the raid by any means, but I was taught what to do by them and adapted. You should be fine to do a fresh run at mid to high 360. I would just be on bomb duty for Aksis and let a higher light knock the captain out and take the cannon. As long as you have everyone 365+ and at least one or two people who know what they're doing, you should be fine. Might take a bit to learn, though.
