Increase skeleton key drop rate
I farm strikes 24/7 in destiny, put in over 200 hours ever since rise of iron. and i have got 6 skeleton keys. I want the satisfaction of opening the chest and getting good loot but i can barely even be able to open it because of the skeleton key drop rate. bungie pls increase.

The drop rates for skeleton keys are the same as the drip rates were for strike loot pretty RoI (I think). It's likely that all this whining about key drop rates is due to the fact that peeps can see the chest at the end and it bugs them that they can't open it lol. I farmed psion flayers nightfall many times before RoI and still don't have any of the flayer mantles. Drops rates are fine cuz theiyr're supposed to be very rare.

I've had 3 since ROI dropped, not sure how many stikes I've done but I reckon over 30 including Nightfalls. It's just Bungie artificially extending the length of content. Maybe they got advice rom Blizzard but as yet none of the Bungie loot compares to the Baron Mount and all the other stuff that does drop is garbage. At least grinding WoW mounts gave other mats which could be sold in the game economy.

1 ReplyI've been grinding almost the whole day for skeleton keys to open chests for the Candlelight shader, and I have only gotten 3 keys. I really do hope they increase the drop rates. I guess I'll be grinding the whole entirety of FoTL for this shader. :\

You know what, I actually like the drop rate for skeleton keys, it's one of the few drops that I get where I'm genuinely excited because it happens so rarely. It's better than getting a ghost of higher light or an exotic from a rare Engram.
