PETITION!!! To Make Halloween Masks INFUSIBLE or ORNAMENTS!

Honestly Bungie, this was a big request last year too. Some people are going to spend $40+ to get that Werewolf mask. (Happened with the Skull Mask.) All Legendary masks should be infusible.
EDIT #1: For all of you wanting to ARGUE on a petition to GIVE players MORE in this game. LIGHT LEVEL is EVERYTHING, in this game..... Anything that takes away from that, should be adjusted to retain that.
EDIT #2: Some have suggested making all Legendary & Exotic helmets have ornament slots & the masks themselves be ornaments.

I'd like to wear my mask everywhere I go and not be forced out of doing stuff I want to do because the mask drops my light levels dramatically. Again, this is HALLOWEEN! It's a time to show off our masks and not have to limit ourselves on where we can show it off in a video game. If the Halloween event is over then just remove the stats from it and revert it back to a regular mask. Sure let it keep its light level but make it work like class faction exotics(except you can wear these still since it's not based on factions) when you change factions and still have it equipped, the stats will drop to 0.

4 RepliesBungie is making us pay for these "cosmetic items". No argument that they shouldn't be infusable to be used as helmets is valid. They are actually specifically invalid. All other wearable items in this game now have a light level. 1: Make all masks, even if they look crappy, upgradable to max light level. Or 2: Issue a refund once the event is over of all silver spent which did not yield a ghost, shader, sparrow, or ornament. Not just silver dust. A full refund. Bungie had the opportunity to garuntee that all boxes would drop a secondary item which would be valid for continued use after this event was over. They failed to do that. Either make absolutely every item you made people spend money on continue to be usable in game for the remainder of the period that Destiny 1's servers are active, or issue a refund for every purchase that only yielded a mask, nothing in between. "We don't want players running around in the raid wearing masks!" Too bad. You made people pay for this crap.

6 RepliesI have no problem with this being an annual event but I think it should stay that way. If we were allowed to wear these masks all year round it would turn this game into a giant joke. We're guardians charged with saving the planet, it doesn't seem fitting to be running into battle wearing some silly masks.

3 RepliesPersonally I'd rather that they don't do this. Although it's nice to have some silly fun in the game every now and again, I'd rather keep the game feeling like a 'real' and 'immersive' universe - filling it up with silly masks etc. creates an immediate and complete immersion break.

It would be cool but since srl is coming I'll settle for that. I prefer to rock the srl gear tbh. If they added a costume slot that covered your normal helm that would probably be better.

Infusible ? I'm not really into that.. BUT they could make it the same light as the blue engrams (max. 365/ It will fall ± your light level). Then the lower players could wear it always and the higher player doesn't lose THAT much light.

2 RepliesLook at it from this point of view, Bungie. If it's going to be a good wait before the next dlc or Destiny 2, giving players the ability to grind for hours for cosmetics will give them something to keep the game entertaining. Studies show that if you give players the ability to waste countless hours on grinding to gain cosmetic items that in no way benefit them by any means other than making their character "look cool", a rather disturbingly large portion of the player base will gladly do so. As a former "Fashion Souls" player (Dark Souls players who ignore gear bonuses for appearance) I can attest to this.
