Who agrees that you should only be able to go flawless once a week per character?
I mean you only get loot once a week from the raid so how is it fair that you can sit there and go flawless all weekend and continually get loot. It'd also solve a lot of problems of people elo farming and give way for more people to go flawless. I mean it took me three weeks to even get my first piece of raid armor yet the first weekend of trials I saw people decked out in full sets of all flawless gear.

I tend to agree with this. Trials is such a shitshow anymore. Matching based on wins my ass bungie; I've had teams claim ultimate victory on my first match! Get your weekly lighthouse and piss off.

I know I have bad trials stats, and I don't care. I am not playing trials primarily to win over and over and over and to prove how great I am (there are truly more significant areas in my life to do that than a mediocre console shooter). I do it to get the nice loot and once I have it play regular crucible where I can have some fun due to SBMM, and to play PvE. I was grinding gold bounties in Y2, providing the cannon fodder better trials players wipe away on their way to the lighthouse until I had all the stuff I wanted. So I am at least not too lazy to work for what I want to get. You cannot get Y3 guns from gold bounties though, and completing gold bounties now is much harder for players like me, as you need to win rounds, and I did a lot of 0-5 matches when I last tried. So yeah, Bungie is hell bent to make this crap game mode more "competitive" (lol @ that btw, which commercial gaming league has Destiny PvP?). Thanks for that. All the players claiming people like me were simply to lazy to get better at this game are very, very thick in my opinion, because you do not seem to get it in your skulls no matter how hard people are trying to hammer it into it that a) There will always be skill differences between players. Some players are naturally more skilled / gifted (also due to age issues) b) There are people who do not have the endless amounts of time to put into Destiny's PvP. Then there's the peculiar species who say that people who want an "easy" way to crucible just never have learned to earn anything. I for myself can say that I am very successful at my job (which requires a lot of technical and social skills), I am good at many types of sport (I would like to see those loudmouthes on a white water river in a tiny Kayak with me, or maybe you want to do a mountain bike tour with me and marvel at my $7,500 Cannondale Carbon Trigger One lefty bike), and I have earned a lot of things that are worth far more than the 30th flawless run on a weekend some people do just to deny others the lighthouse. So yeah, fack you all who say I'd just be too lazy or couldn't perform. I will probably stomp you in 10 different rl areas. So much for the bragging. I don't like to brag, but I will if I think it has to be. This being said, I would try as hard as I could to get to the lighthouse if I had the chance, and even with all the true sweaties being in a separate trials MM pool, it would still be sweaty for me. As things are the way they are now though, I have enough income to easily afford triple carries instead (if I wanted to) and pay exactly those ELO 2300 KD 3.0 players that will wipe you loud mouths off the trials map over and over and over and over the entire weekend, because they will play the entire weekend due to the nice income boost it will give them. And this is exactly enforced by the current setup of trials. Oh yeah, and it also is so competitive. I wonder whether it would make people like you mad if they saw people like me run around with all the Y3 trials gear. You are so ridiculous. Before you start yelling at me again, please remember that I do not consider you superior to me in any way just because you are better at a certain game mode in a certain shooter game. I actually believe that I am superior to you when looking at the entire picture (of your lives vs. mine), and the more you yell at me and insult me, the more you are reassuring me of that attitude. ;-) The entire current concept of "competitiveness" in trials is nonsense, and I dare to say that the biggest loud mouths here are probably the players who have the least to show off irl.

7 RepliesIt should be 1 flawless per characters. Then move on till the next week. We do not need people who just live doing trials. This is why my friends and I never go there. Bunch of try hard sweaty people. Who think they are gods.

5 RepliesIt doesn't matter. Streamers routinely log into other players' accounts to play ToO. Bungie caters to streamers and won't do anything to make them mad (like giving ToO the same matchmaking settings as every other Crucible mode in the game).

1 ReplyI play trials every weekend and only been flawless 5 times. The fact that it's so hard for an average person like me makes it that much more rewarding to finally make it. By far the most fun in destiny is for an average pvper to make it to the lighthouse. Keep practicing mang you'll get there.

You can only go flawless once a week, but can re-enter trials for the fun of it. Some people just enjoy competitive PvP

Hell yeah it's a good idea. Make the flawless carriers make new accounts and grind them if they want to do a ton of carries. More time they spend outside of trials the better honestly even with this workaround.

I think it is fine how it is, but I do think that year 1 trials of Osiris was more of a fun experience than trials of Osiris now.

Trials matchmaking is the problem. However people who achieve flawless once per character. Should be in a seperate bracket. Year 1 flawless wasnt bad nor year 2. Year 3 is fn hard. Everytime i get to six wins i go against bsk or a group of laggers. Bsk ill take anyday though because they are a tough group of kittens. Its frustrating but it challenges you.

WTF!!! *Changing it now as per OP's suggestion would lose the prestige of being able to say one did a flawless run. *Changing it would be on the same level as receiving "participation trophies". *If they do change it to OP's suggestion, I hope they add some sort of asterisk to their Grimoire card stating something to the effect of "flawless participation trophy run".

If they do it would bring a lot more people back playing destiny they also treat it like its a top tear event which its not lets get real. And for people that continually go flawless on all three char. Good for you get a real job for the average player I hope they figure something out for you.
