Age is NO excuse (I'm SO bad)
I just turned 56, but that’s no excuse for the way I play.. (Although I’ve been known to blame it on that occasionally).
I’m SO bad..
When I go see the Speaker, there’s Uncomfortable Silence.
Amanda only has sparrows with training wheels. But she did promise I could solo my Cessna 150.
Rahool just gave me a new helmet, “The Dunce Cap” It’s got zero stats. And don’t get me started on my new hand cannon it’s got a GOD awful ROLL.
When I went down to face Crota, Eris mourned.
My ghost only says one line, “I got a bad feeling about this.”
I went to the “Sky Watch” and missed every public event. I was too busy looking up.
My jumping puzzles are named “Off the Edge”.
I came across a Dreg in the Cosmodrome and he said, “YOU and ME 1V1!”
Cayde said, “I need to get out of this tower… you need to stay.”
I’ve never gotten hate mail in the crucible. Just condolence cards.
.. But when I load up, join my awesome team, play with my wife or just run a patrol by myself; I feel young again and have as much fun as I did dropping quarters in PONG!

I was in the tower earlier and heard something about Zavala’s Crochet Class. I was excited; he said to Try Hard and I might get accepted for spring semester.
Mrs. Levante presented me with an exclusive shader, “Yellow-belly” it clashes with my Dunce Cap, tho. I asked her if she was getting a bigger box of crayons soon. I can’t repeat her answer here. (Ninja's and all).
I went to pledge Dead Orbit. Mr. Jalaal said, “No Thanks.”

42 years young gamer and playing catch up as only recently bought Destiny. @work just now fired up the companion app whilst work gets in the way of play with a cheeky grin at your post. A quick post (my first) to say thanks for the smile :) and subbed to peruse later, now I know where the oldies are at. Used my mod mic for the first time on Saturday night in shock at the fact someone spoke in the crucible was taken aback :) I thought this game was full of silent teens. Better half not fond of gaming sadly but I get away with murder on play time hehe Have fun.

I'm 44 and whenever I play PvP, I make sure that 911 is on hold. Crucible makes my heart rate go very fast. And when I went to the lighthouse, the EMTs were on red alert!

I hear you. As an older gamer myself, I marvel at the skills and reflexes of the guardians I see playing on a regular basis. I avoid PvP for the most part, which tends to be a lesson in futility for me, and stick to PvE. I love working together with fellow guardians whether it be defending against Vex sacrifices, taking out the Taken, eliminating an enemy, participating in an Archon Forge activity, etc. I may be older, but I hope to never be too old to play games and have fun doing it.

It's a clan dedicated to mature gamers, parents and people looking for a clan that like to get stuff done but won't bite your head off for making a mistake. Hi I'm 40 this is also my first FPS Game. Been enjoying it from day one when it was releast. i been playing All racing games. Our Clan name is The Retired not becuase we retired its becuase the guys in our clan hardly play any more.

39 here. Been gaming since I got my NES at squeeker age. Gaming with all ages, ups and downs everywhere. Sometimes a young gamer is behaving more mature than a 45 year old cussing everyone. And of course, vice versa. Calm, laid back, non tryhards. That's a league I wanna play in...

I'm 58 been playing since day one am ok at pve hopless at raids reaction time and finger joints are not what they used to be but i always try my best,i love games and have been playing for many years

4 RepliesI'm 36. I felt old (21) playing Halo:CE and I felt old starting Destiny last year. I really do still feel old especially when I hear younger voices through my headset. At this age, the voices could be in my head too. 🤔😐😑
