I get new armor all the time, and I've always wondered what the Intellect, Strength, and Discipline do. I've always gone with whatever piece has the most Strength points, but is that really the best option?

Intellect-charges super faster Discipline-charges grenade faster Strength-charges melee faster I recommend intellect and discipline being higher. Hope this helps!

Edited by acousticsoul22: 10/16/2016 6:47:01 AMI see that you're new'ish' to the game. One word of advice. Stay off the forums. Run away while you still can. But to answer your question, it's about super, grenade, and melee. Prioritize what you feel will fit your play style the most.

Probably best to go for. 300 disp and 300 int, forget strength.

When you're in your menu, put your cursor over the three little emblems next to your armor. It explains what intellect, discipline, & strength do, & it'll show you exactly how much time you have to wait for your abilities to charge.

Ignore these asshats laughing at you. Intellect determines how fast you acquire your super. Discipline determines how fast your grenade energy recharges. Strength determines your melee recharge speed. Since you're new to the game and still leveling up, I wouldn't worry about it too much, but once you get higher and higher and start developing your own play style, you'll need to pay attention.

Really?

1 ReplyThe three perks are there to shorten the length of time in-between abilities. Every tier you go up in a stat makes the corresponding initial cooldown shorter. (Ex. 45 sec grenade cooldown to 35 sec cooldown) Intellect gets you your super faster. Discipline does the same for grenades. Strength does the same for melee.
