The moments of triumph for rise of iron says complete all 4 exotic weapon quests.
These are:
Thorn
Outbreak Prime
Khvostov
Gjallarhorn
There are no other exotics.

Wouldn't count that as an exotic quest in my mind. Because you neither knew you were getting it and you were just playing through the story.

Remember not all exotic quests were super difficult, just locked behind a time wall. No Time to Explain was super easy, you could do it in a day once the quest finally became available.

Black Spindle was an Exotic that wasn't announced, or shown in the Weapon Kiosk until obtained. So..?

I believe there was a spot for spindle in the kiosk but not positive...even if though, if we learned anything about destiny over the last couple years it's that things change as the game progresses

I'm not positive either now, it's been so long. Eh, I'll chalk it up as a most likely for now. Not going to stress over it when we should just wait and see what's going to happen with this new "secret".

There might be more considering that the book said find 15 siva clusters but there was 30 in total for each character. Maybe it's for the Dubois rocket [spoiler]Bungie is very secretive and creative in ways [/spoiler]

Black spindle dropped without a quest but still required you to do something unique. so could other exotics
