Bad game design makes it seem like the Axe is yours alone. If it is anyones the game should make it clear. Not really bothered anymore. Will let the thieves do my work for me if they want.
But to the admin who banned me replying to my own topic for replying to a guy who swore at me... get a freakin' grip and learn how to moderate... or at least let "offenders" reply to the freakin mod to ask why you got banned.

1 ReplyAfter reading this I've decided that whenever I see someone doing this patrol, I'm taking that shit and running away with it
-
But just being near them when they use it completes the kills for you. Is it that they take it and don't kill with it? That would suck.
-
4 RepliesMmmmm. There are many options to complete this bounty you choose the slowest way of doing it. Then complain when another guardian takes the axe. BTW staying close to the player with the axe will credit you with kills as well. The Archon Forge is the quickest way of doing this bounty.
-
If friendly fire was on he'd win with the axe
-
You don't have to be the one with the axe to make the kills count for the bounty. I have completed this bounty before while over the other side of Archons Keep to the actual event - I didn't even see the axe, let alone use it
-
2 RepliesIts a lot easier to just farm Archon Forge to get that bounty done. Plus you'll get mass loot while doing it.

Edited by Matt Boy52: 10/12/2016 4:58:45 AMI usually just run into the oil tanker, using a splicer key on the laser door and grab the axe in the room where you switch the power cores on the last mission. Just be mindful when going to grab it because that major splicer servitor will wreck your shit if you're not careful.
-
1 ReplyThat was my gripe as well, watching someone take the axe and denying my kills. ...until the bounty finished on its own. I think it's safe to let another use the axe or cannons, but you have to get a hit on the enemy much like with major/ultra kills or anything of that sort. Let them swing away if they get it. But believe me it's cathartic to smash through a bunch of baddies with a GIGANTIC FLAMING AXE OF RAGING AWESOMENESS!! TOTALLY HEAVY METAL, MAN!!! ROCK ON!! ...ahem...make sure everyone gets a turn with the thing.
-
Seems like a pretty silly detail to whine about. How do you do in real life?
-
Go to the rocket yards for this bounty. Use a splicer key in the door by the entrance to sepiks perfected. An axe will be there, if you get some decent combos from all the enemies in that area, you could possibly finishe the bounty with one axe.

I did this the other day pausing to wave every 10 seconds while running away. Me and my fireteam were laughing so hard i hard tears streaming down my face and i had to cross my legs so i didn't piss myself. The poor guy chased me and forgot all about his patrol mission, it just added to the hilarity.
-
7 RepliesHaha im off now to troll on patrol im goin to wait for an axe and run away with it
-
4 RepliesIf you stand next to this person it will also count for you so calm down. Also, I haven't seen this too much - you must be a PS player lel I had a Guardian pick up my axe, revive me, drop the axe again for me only to have to revive me again because I was too busy waving at him like a retard trying to -blam!- a doorknob...
-
A bit unrelated but do cannons in the HoW story missions count. If so it would make it much easier than finding a quarantine patrol or forge session.
-
Edited by dnrobs: 10/12/2016 2:38:10 AMIt's the same with kill bounties, people using all their weaponry to get the kills first, especially in lords watch but as long as you're close enough you all get the kills.
-
Go Steelers!! Super bowl bound!!
-
Um guy.... If you have the AXE Bounty.. and see someone doing a Quarantine mish... just stand in the Circle and you get kill credits too.... You don't need to get any kills at all. Just join into a Quarantine Patrol. Plus get splicer keys and open up the doors that give you the axe...
-
Calm down and play the last mission on ROI you'll get your kills in no time and you can chill Don't take it so seriously when there are so many options -,-
-
1 Replyis this just because its the axe? because you know if you are in the immediate area you will get credits for the kills if needed for the axe, right?
-
lol! I had some poorly raised loser take an axe and run off with it for know other reason than to prove that he was a d-bag. He succeeded.
-
While this is completely unacceptable behavior, I found out that you don't need to be the one to use the axe to work on the bounty. Someone was doing a quarantine mission and was using the axe. I was on the complete opposite side of the area and still finished the bounty while they were getting kills.
-
15 RepliesI go into archons forge to do mine spawns up to 3 axes and has a constant reliable enemy source. I tend to do the green and blues solo unless another comes along while im in there. Forge keys drop from the priest bounties and sometimes you get the axe during that but yes asshats tend to steal them, another axe can be grabbed in the husk area by using a splicer key to go inside the husk.
-
I prefer when they steal it because they ALWAYS R1 the exploders and die. It's humorous.
-
6 RepliesThis. Show a little decency guardians. If it doesn't get picked up after the enemies drop then feel free to grab it. Don't be a jerk just because you are a frustrated tween that gets off on griefing others. (Adult rant over. Stepping off soapbox.)
-
Even if someone takes it you step in the area and it'll still count towards the bounty.
