So Titanfall 2 is right around the corner...
Was anyone else [i]really[/i] disappointed with their multiplayer "beta"/tech demo? Yeah, the grappling hook was cool and all but where's my movie quality post-processing?
In the first game, calling your Titan down caused tons of dust to kick up where it landed. The game felt grittier, more visceral. Like Saving Private Ryan in space with giant robots. Titanfall 2 felt really arcade-y. When riding in your Titan in the first game, you felt like you were in a mech. The camera shake did a good job of making you feel like you were in a giant machine. In Titanfall 2 it felt kind of glidey when you are piloting your Titan. Wasn't into it at all.

It was fun, Found playing a titan way less fun than a soldier taking on a titan. But with destiny and overwatch i already got my share of fps, so i'll pass

I thought it was cool when the Titan grabbed you in FP view in the first game. It was lame in tf2 when they grab you in 3rd person view.

I really liked some of the changes. Getting cores off a Titan and recharging a teammates was cool as well as a few other things. I didn't care for how earning a Titan is kinda of off in Hardpoint Dom. The early dominant team got there Titans way earlier than the losing team and most games were lopsided. I did really enjoy the money in the bank mode though. It was fast and frantic and called for good teamwork. If there is one change I would like to see it would be all Titans start with at least one dash. Oh and my biggest change is how it changes to third person when you get in your Titan. After all the time I played TF1 it is a little disorienting and breaks The immersion. Also line of sight if there are enemy around you.

I have it pre ordered, I enjoyed the tech test, was it different to the first game yes, was it disappointing ? No, I played it solid on both weekends, really looking forward to release.

I don't know about anyone else but I -blam!-ing loved the Tech Test, it's been one of my most hyped games all year
