How to acquire your very own Year Three Ballerhorn.

I got this gun pretty quickly tbh, still as beastly as it once was. The steps that I took were beating the main story, completing an anomaly for Shiro-4 along with finishing his entire questline, then Saladin presented me with the option to forge it.
When granted the quest, you must first collect several Iron Medallions scattered around the Plaguelands and one on Felwinter's Peak. I used a high range sniper to pick out the symbol for it, it looks eaxctly like the triangle-shaped patrol symbol.
From there I followed the rest of the questline, going to Bannerfall and finishing that mission by defusing two large bombs.
After that, I had to gather 5 Dormant SIVA Clusters. (Already had 3, used YouTube to find two random ones.)
Finally, I had to go to Skyshock to forge the weapon and boom, back to raining death Year One style. Hope this helped.
Edit: The quest's name is Beauty in Destruction, for those who do not know. I've also noticed that many people don't seem to know how to locate the Anomaly.
In order to find the Anomaly, first get the quest for it from Shiro-4. If he does not present you with the quest, go through his questline until you get it. From there, head to Archon's Keep and look for a Patrol beacon with a Ghost-shaped symbol. Once you have it, follow the patrol instructions until you locate a Fallen Walker along with an Iron Battleaxe. Lay waste to the Walker and scan the environment and you should be rewarded with the Ballerhorn quest.

5 RepliesA couple things to add to this... First off, the final mission to get it is a massive pain; you need to defend your Ghost while he repairs it, which sounds simple enough until you are swarmed by anywhere between 15-30 enemies at time in multiple waves (oddly enough it's a situation where Gjallarhorn would be useful...) on top of this if enemies get to close the repair level goes down. Doing this solo is frustrating to say the least, it took me around 10 tries and in that time I killed 600 enemies... Luckily the spawns are limited so once you kill everything you can just sit and wait for the repair to be finished. After that the Gjallarhon 3.0 will drop on the ground, heavy ammo crates will spawn everywhere and you'll be tasked with taking out two walkers on either side of the map. This part is easy, although it's odd they would have you face walkers to test the power of the new Gjally since they are pretty much the only boss it's not great for since most of the damage lands against immune parts. With that said, it drops at 350 attack which puts it 10 higher than The Young Wolfs Howl. If you preordered and got the Iron Gjally it becomes usable as soon as the regular 3.0 is unlocked, but it still needs to be infused. Not sure why they didn't just make Iron Gjally an ornament though, seems like a waste not to.
