Constantly getting "contacting destiny servers" message and error codes after hot "fix"
Trying to get some experience back before ROI releases. I updated the new hot "fix" and now I can't even get past the character select screen.......WTF BUNGIE!?!?!?!

I've tried finishing this Iron Tomb mission like 4 times, but every time I get to the boss or get the boss half way dead, I get contacting destiny server and than booted out :/

Bungie, does this game use servers or not? I see you people telling us that destiny does not use servers, so the problems are on our end. Yet you also clearly tell us when the servers will be down. Confused and annoyed here. Whatever is used to allow destiny to play, could you people out competent humans in charge of it, and take the chimpanzees and orangutans back to the zoo?

5 RepliesSame here... keeps also kicking me out of games only to rejoin without points or ammo... and then after 2 - 3 attempts kicks me out completely. Nice timing.. I mean, who loads up a patch the night before you are supposed to release a new DLC, I feel a delay coming for tomorrows release... and all this to fix some grain and because lord shaxx was too loud...

1 ReplyI can see it now. We all sit around for hours waiting while Bungie tries to take care of server issues. So much for all the hype. Bungie should feel very fortunate they have such a loyal fan base. It seems like every time I have a day off and have some time to play, server maint keeps me waiting all day. Getting very old.

Sometimes get to orbit but I can't go anywhere because of contacting destiny servers and then the eventual cloudberry error and finally weasel. I'm very worried. Is it just xbox one? EDIT: Seemed to be working just fine when I checked an hour ago. Hopefully it stays that way.

8 RepliesThis happens almost every time people try to access destiny shortly after or during a patch. Basically, the only way to fix this is to wait. If there is still the service warning on the main banner of the help page, then just wait till it disappears. Should the issue persist after the banner is gone, then you should return here and state it. Otherwise, the Help bot will only give you links to the error codes and tell you how to troubleshoot. They do not know how to tell you guys to wait until the update is completed in its entirety. If this persists for another two hours, I will have a better answer for you.
