What should Sony offer PS4 players for this breach of trust? I demand restitution. We got royally fūcked by Sony today. What shall it be?
Also: if you want to call me an ungrateful prick, trust me, no one is more aware of it than me

You are owed nothing

4 Replieshopefully a refund, especially considering the base game is terrible

8 RepliesBreach of trust? Restitution? We weren't slaves m8. It's half Bethesdas fault anyways.

"We increased PS Plus' price and people want something to compensate for it? Better cancel mods for Fallout 4, which people have been waiting for almost a year for." -Someone working for Sony

Look up HeyImStarlord on youtube and he proposes a decent alternative.

Edited by Superpug: 9/10/2016 10:29:25 PMOne thing I payed attention to was the "mods can't be made how they're supposed to" so I feel like maybe Bethesda will add some sort of cheat menu for PS4. I don't know, I'm just trying to hold onto hope.

1 ReplyTry Xbox.com

2 RepliesEdited by Hawk 73: 9/10/2016 9:00:58 PMThe only problem I have with Bethesda is Fallout 4, hopefully they can redeem themselves with TES VI
Nothing to do with mods I just don't like Fallout 4
There was never an official statement from Sony saying there would be mods on PlayStation 4 for Fallout and Skyrim. Plus everyone at this point should know that Bethsheda and Sony don't have a great relationship
-
Not gonna lie, I thought this would be some sick ass mod based off of the title. Although.. I won't do the usual and claim disappointment. I'm sure PS players are far more disappointed about this thread's contents than me. 😓

My guess if you compline enough you'll get a free copy of NMS lol lol lol lol

3 RepliesNothing. No promises were made. Bethesda said they would try and Sony said no. I have Fallout 4 on PS4 but I also have it on PC so it doesn't bother me. It would have been nice to have the power armour mod I use on PS4 with the guns i'm using but shit happens. I have them on PC so all is well. I didn't think Sony would allow them due to how they are. Mods need write access, Sony have always been closed about their files and allowing that kind of access. I never expected them to change their minds now. It was always going to be easier to bring mods to Xbox due to the OS it uses. Mods on console are also incredibly limited. If you want to experience a proper modded Fallout game then PC is still the way to go.

Well at least in this instance Bethesda will allow them if Sony change their minds unlike EA Access which they screwed up for their fans, because you know getting a few $100 worth of stuff for a low sub cost is not "good value"... the player base hounded them but no matter how much they beg EA will tell Sony to F-off now

4 RepliesWhy haven't Sony agreed to mods.
-
2 RepliesI honestly can't believe anyone really believed mods would come to the PS4. :l
-
6 RepliesI have no problem with Bethesda.

1 ReplyEdited by Kankunation: 9/10/2016 3:11:02 AMSony never actually said you would get it, and Bethesda just said they were pushing for them on PS4. It was never garunteed. Not exactly a breach of trust. It does suck that they just won't agree to have mods, but we all knew this could be a possibility.

1 ReplyThey should buy you all a Xbox One. Solves both problems.
-
Blame Sony, not Bethesda. Also, get over it.
-
2 RepliesNothing, too bad you got screwed out of mods.
-
It's not Bethesda's fault so they shouldn't have to give you anything, Sony should. It's their fault there's not gonna be mods on their console in the first place.
-
Nothing. Only Bethesda promised mods for console that may come later down the line in fallout 4's lifespan. So if you bought the game for a "maybe", then you messed up.
-
None of us are getting anything. Sony said no for probably stupid reasons, idiots will use the decision as fuel for the infinitely pointless console war, and I wouldn't be surprised if Skyrim Remastered sales aren't great on PS4.
