Hello all,
We are actively investigating player reports regarding recent TAPIR Errors received by players on all platforms. We have identified the cause of this issue and are working diligently to reach a resolution.
This thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available. If you have encountered this issue, please Comment in this thread with your PSN ID/ Xbox Gamertag, as well as exactly which console you have received this error on.
Thank you for your patience as we pursue a resolution to this issue.

Oh look, now when you open the app you can see a nice Service alert saying Bungie is investigating something that PSN says is their own fault regarding their services... But for all of us, with XB1 or PS4 that haven't been able to do an account import because of a Tapir error for almost 6 days now, NOTHING!

It's been 4 days since I bought a brand new Xbox one and Destiny The Collection during the holiday weekend, figuring I could transfer my characters and catch up before the new update. Well it's been a week for me with this tapir error. And yet nothing! Can say how upset I am with bungie for all this. To add insult to injury I have to see my friends all playing but me. I've paid way to much for this game for all this. Now nothing to do on my ps4😠
