Warlock melee is Broken (supreme butthurt is ok with my change)

For starters, [u][b]the range is fine[/b][/u], it makes sense since they have few gunplay or movement enhancing perks and gear, but I'm not some fool who does not understand the value of a melee, but since primary weapons have been in a rough spot for a while now, melee's are often a big factor in what little gun fights do occur, and the warlock wins that fight every single time. There's a reason warlcoks are so popular in rumble and sweats, They have many goods and no bads Who usually wins the super bowl? The teams that have one or two great players (abilities) that try to make up for their extremely lacking team? Or the team with many good and decent players and few gaps in the depth chart? The well rounded team usually wins, and that's why the warlock is the best class right now While all you guys are complaining about the striker titan that is still not even that great, or the defender that can be great but has a meh super, i know the real problem here, the warlock melee (not the range) Melee's have always been a way you get close and personal and deal pretty solid damage with the risk of being one shot shotguned or gunned down, this is not the case for warlocks As you can see, they can shotgun melee combo you from outside of one shot shotty range and win that encounter, every single time. My main issue is that they can safely use the ability and not run the danger of a shotty to the face while the rest of use have to slide in close to thwack you, or shank you [b]I'm not saying the range is an issue, warlocks sort of need it for the lack of general abilities involving gunplay, What they really need is to [u]add a lunge to the melee[/u], so they have an added risk when going in for a melee[/b] I don't understand how the fact that they can have a safe melee is acceptable I used triplewrecks video for reference of the range, I'm not bandwagon for a nerf, most just want a range nerf I'm going to assume most who look at this post will assume I just hate warlocks, but I've posted on the some ways to buff warlocks in the past, but I stand by my argument for their melee mechanic I try to look at ways to change a mechanic, add a counter, or find alternate solutions to changing a powerful abilties before suggest anything about their core stats I've gotten so many warlocks saying I want to destroy the class, but it's a simple mehcanic switch that should give it more risk That's what kept the halo sword balanced, high range, but it still had to lunge, and was vunerable to shotty While this is not destiny, I think this is a prefect example of what it should look like https://youtu.be/yvLD9TU_pTk
