Like or whatever if you agree... Not that Bungie will, you know, DO anything about it but whatever.
Gotta find my people.
F**k the Hive.
EDIT: Bunch of people aren't getting what i meant... I don't want to play fukin Fallout. I also meant more along the lines open world, with more exploration(For the 343th time, something Like Star Citizen or Elite Dangerous).
Seriously guys, the games gotten worse and worse with each dlc(TTK wasn't horrible, I liked the story missions, but now just killing the cabal and the -blam!-ING taken over and over is just straight-up boring.)
TDB was okay aswell.

Go play no mans sky.
-
Agreed More locations. More exploration. More story and lore. Give us D2 on the scale of Skyrim-x10.
-
2 RepliesPersonally I just want the maps opened up. If I want to climb up the building and hill to get to Skywatch fucking let me.
-
5 RepliesAnd how did no mans sky go? Nah, I be content to shoot shit.
-
well i found a big door in the vault of glass with weird symbols on it. during the paradox mission.
-
YES! MORE SECRETS, PUZZLES, AND EXPLORATION. We need content that was as difficult as the community was trying to make the Sleeper quest before we found out it was time gated. Throw some bones to the smart old players, and theory ponderers...

That's what everyone wanted from Destiny 1. A huge world to explore with a fair amount of combat. All Destiny is, is a lazy try at a serious story.
-
Really they just need to give purpose to exploring. If the games instances were all open to the public that would help immensely. It would mean that you join activities in progress. Rather than the barren geometry it feels like even with some enemies.
-
8 RepliesIt sounds like you may be more into no mans sky. Destiny is more of a group style fps. If you want to explore, buy that unfinished game for $60 USD.
-
Destiny is first and foremost a FPS. I wouldn't mind more puzzles added in strikes, and the environment should certainly be more living, but in short... No.
-
I would like a bigger free roam. And unlimited bounties. Some faction bounties. I could do with out patrols and would love more events. Have real wars on planets. And some hidden caves or sections to explore for good loot chest. And a rotation of spawns would be nice. The same enemys gets old
-
Hell no. More strikes and raids would be better.
-
4 RepliesThere is a ton to explore. Just because you don't feel like exploring, doesn't mean it isn't there for you.
-
5 RepliesWhy does D-2 make me think of Mighty Ducks 2
-
I like exploration, and i think having more areas to explore with no invisible walls would add more immersion to destiny
-
7 RepliesWhy do people keep saying bungie won't do anything ? You realise all these buffs and nerf and added updates are all because they listen
-
Now that the hanging turds (called last gen) were cut... we should see better shit now ! Woot !

15 RepliesEdited by CUSTODYIN: 9/1/2016 12:21:09 PMI see a lot of people saying "no man's sky already a thing" etc. But I think that's missing the point... There are plenty of games that are action oriented that also have a focus on exploration. Fallout, Skyrim, hell even any MMO has a huge emphasis on exploration. This is what I was hoping Destiny would be originally... Destiny currently is just a collection of tiny sandboxes connected in a linear fashion, each area has to load in while you're travelling to it, and not every area in patrol has much to do. Destiny would benefit from having a proper open world sandbox, or even multiple sandboxes for each planet. Right now we just have the illusion of open areas. I want to be able to find actual NPC's and quests in patrol, not these flashing beacons with a collection of pre-set phrases. I want to feel more connected with the world. It would also be a better way to expand on the lore of Destiny. The whole fun of the dreadnought in TTK was the exploration, finding the calcified fragments, finding hidden chests, each having their own specific way to open them... No, it's not exploration like No Man's Sky, it's exploration like a proper RPG. Even with all the flak surrounding No Man's Sky... I think it would be incredibly cool, if we could fly our ships ourselves from earth, to venus, to mars, the moon etc. Take part in dogfights in space... I think that would be incredibly awesome instead of having our ships basically being a pretty loading screen.

Why not both?
-
1 ReplyI'd really love it if Destiny 2 was somewhere between what it is now and what things like No Man's Sky and Star Citizen are attempting, being able to take off from one planet, pilot to another, maybe have some ship combat mechanics...
-
2 RepliesDestiny. The game where you open doors and shoot shit! Over and over and over and over and over and over again. Such an amazing game!
It's not an amazing game
-
See that place over there? That whole area? We can go there. But we won't. Do you know why? We haven't found a way past the Bungie wall.
-
2 RepliesShit I just want dedicated servers. If that's not in destiny 2 no more money for bungie.
-
So a game set in a solar system where mankind is besieged from multiple sides. The civilization is in ruins with just one last city on Earth. Unless dead orbit gets their way and we run to the stars, we fight.
-
4 RepliesNo, I feel like destiny is very fun. I don't want the game to completely change and just be focused on exploration.
