Edited by 氷水啼エジル・ギュミ: 8/30/2016 11:47:47 PMNightstalker for 4 simple things: Smoke, Suppression super, hunted perk, and shadestep. Bladedancer for 5 things: Swarm bases, Invisibility, weapons are ready faster, health regeneration w/ some perks, agility (fastest class on the ground). Gunslinger for 5 things: Trip mines are great for traps (place them on downed enemy players so when they go for a revive you can get another kill) works best with ahamkara exotic arms, stability and reload perks, best roaming super imo, incendiary nades are a OHKO if they get hit by the initial blast, throwing knives w/ burn damage if you have good aim are a game changer I love Gunslinger for any crucible mode. Hands down, has always been the best subclass for crucible. Especially in vanilla Destiny. During that time tripmines were sticky, throwing knives were OHKO's and golden gun was impossible to counter.

I love hearing a roaming super or any super really and just popping my golden gun and shutting them down
-
I cant make up my mind either, all three feel pretty good to me. I can pick mains on my warlock and titan but not hunter. Voted nighstalker because that is the one i play the most.
-
Bladedancer until the end.
-
2 RepliesNightstalker is the best class... You already know this ..... Lol
-
As a warlock I agree with night stalker but it is going to get nerfed
-
2 RepliesI like BladeDancer with all of its invisibility capabilities. Although the Wombocombo with Nightstalker is OP
-
Depends.. I think blade is probably the best for majority of people, but I play better on a nightstalker personally, and I actually am booty with wombo. Gunslinger was my main forever, and its super alone is worth playing with it
-
Gunslinger all the way
-
Whatever you are good with
-
Always a gunslinger
-
BladeDancer for QuickDraw alone. Nightstalker for wombo-combo/anti-super shade-step Gunslinger for throwing knife (Rip Tripmine) and good anti-super
-
2 RepliesI prefer Nightstalker because of its zoning abilities, but all the Hunter subclasses are very good in trials
-
1 ReplyForever and always a Gunslinger.
-
In general, nightstalker. Blade dancer is the wild card though. QuickDraw in the right hands is the best perk in the game.
-
Nightstalker was probably the best out of all the hunter subclasses even when it launched
-
6 RepliesNight stalker. But gunslinger is right next to it imho. BD is trash. If blink was actually usable then maybe.
-
1 ReplyWe ran into these hunters tonight, all Nightstalker's all graviton forfeit, all trials gear all same color and even the same emblem. They were so cute. They pummeled us though. I dread going into a match with people using No land Beyond. That gun is so stupid. Lee Harvey Oswald was using a no land. The damn bullets curve around shit to hit you. I don't think anyone has ever missed a no land shot except me.
-
Depends. Personally I prefer bladedancer with a sniper and TLW, and the super is actually quite useful if you use it right
-
Gunslinger is my favorite by far. The mix of 2 trip mines and 2 throwing knives makes it easy to defend against shotguns and it feels so rewarding. In my opinion the super is OK, but easy to shutdown if you don't pop it just right, it's also a little harder to evade with it compared to the other 2 supers. otherwise it's an easy 2 kill in trials most of the time. Go with gunslinger for ability kills and baiting people. Go with nightstalker for rushing with a shotgun. And go with blade dancer for sniping (quick draw).
-
I say GG. Was always a fan of the double trip mines. Now that they don't stick I've been using incendiary nades. Been having a lot of fun
-
Gunslinger. Because throwing knives!! Nuff said
-
1 ReplyGunslinger. I use to do nightstalker. Graviton unlocking shade step with the hunter perk in use. Its solid. But i came back to gunslinger with a new loadout and its been a lot of fun.
-
I've always been a gunslinger at heart in pvp
-
Leave a comment as to why you picked that subclass!
All hunter sub classes get 1hk bu darkblades spite.... so the answer is.... striker lmao

Honestly I think it's which ever one you are most practiced with and/or fits your playstyle. They all have advantages which are detailed in other posts. I like to use Nightstalker for a multitude of reasons. Keen scout, smokes (I use snare which I don't see a lot). Or if I'm feeling it invis shenanigans for myself or my team. Can totally screw with a lot of people mixing it up on rounds. And of course the void bow.
