Isn't it weird that every guardian seems to have died in the same spot?
That pile of bodies must have been huge. I started 6 guardians and they all awoke at the same exact spot. I'm pretty sure all of your guardians did too....
Edit: now that we're trending theories are piling up. We've got
-were all the same guardian across different time lines
-ignore it, it's a game.
-clown car theory
-Mexican drug cartel theory
-stack theory... falling guardians landing on other guardians
-The vex won and this is all a simulation
TOP ANSWER: That car was the site of a loot cave the fallen used to use. Engrams for days!!!

1 ReplyI believe we weren't found as physical bodies but our consciousness was still alive and our ghost just made us as our residual self image like in the matrix. Also, Destiny is considered a MMOFPS. Everyone pretty much runs the same exact story.

6 RepliesI'm more intrigued about that powerful guardian on pod #10201 that refused to be resurrected by the ghost. After hearing about that, i don't feel like the "chosen one" anymore. I feel more like a "there's no one else better" kind of choice......

Engrams for days!!![/quote] Originally, depending on which class you chose, you started in different places and the story was a little different before diverging at the arrival of the Tower. Then Bungie decided to go with the vanilla version we had.

The only reason why Destiny exists is because it's a patched version of Orgins, a game where you play as the fallen, they found a loot cave at that beginning area, I remember the golden days of Orgins...soon enough the whole community started complaining, so bungie made destiny.

my theory you were apart of a russian circus, they were attempting their most dangerous move yet. launching you out of a cannon. once they shot you out you never got back to them. so they kept shooting people to that same spot to try and see if anyone could survive. golden age, collapse, game starts. turns out the ghost is actually sergei, and he revived you because they have a sweet new gig in the tower.

2 RepliesMy crackpot theory.... at least for any human Guardian. Just because we woke up and were in a car us doesn't necessarily mean we were in the car when we died. That site could have been an ancient Russian battleground, and our Guardian was an ancient soldier felled by Mongol invaders or the like. Thousands of years later, someone parked a car over the grave, Ghost comes along and boom we are risen. Or could have been a Russian Mob body dump, hundreds if not thousands of Mob enemies all dumped in the same spot. Then someone parks their car over the site, Ghost comes along and boom we're risen.

Actually that's a wormhole. Where we were revived is the entrance to a black hole. It's been slowly spitting people back out of it for about 3years now
