Is it true that the digital CE exotics help you get motes faster?

I read somewhere that the collectors edition class exotics get you motes faster after your level 40. Is this true? Can anyone confirm?

If it boosts your level speed then I'd say yes, I'm not sure what they do specifically though because I can't find them in the armoury and I honestly don't want to sift through google.
