I prefer L1/R1 because it's traditional, and has been the norm on PS1/2/3. I honestly don't know why games are forcing L2/R2. Not only is it traditional, in some games it's just unconventional. If you're driving, you need to use the triggers for speed control, not shooting. It is really annoying that many games don't allow remapping buttons, and it's easy to forget to switch back when remapping them manually.
Also, do you hold your controller with four fingers on all triggers/bumpers or just move your pointer finger to hit them both?
Edit: If you vote and don't bump, I dislike you.

Edited by Wolfy: 8/11/2016 11:54:03 AMI remember when most games had O for "ok" and X for "cancel." Which actually makes way more sense if youre somewhat familar with japan lawl

Triggers def even though they are terribly made. But I do agree bumpers feel normal on the other playstations.

I remember back before you could customize your button settings when it was ALWAYS L1/R1 to aim and shoot. Damn near had to relearn to play when I got to play on a console where you could choose.

Back in my day you used L1 to aim and R1 to shoot. What happened to you people?!

I mean, if you really don't like it, go to your controller settings on the ps4 and remap the buttons yourself. I feel triggers should be the "fire" buttons. Considering that's what triggers do.

1 ReplyI use L1 to jump, prefer R2 for the trigger, because it feels more natural.

2 RepliesWho uses the left side?

1 ReplyI can play both easy but I prefer the triggers

L2 R2, it's hard when I play some ps3 games and it's non changeable L1 R1.

1 ReplyImpossible Poll L1/R1 as its always been like that L2/R2 because it feels smoother

L2/R2 feels much more comfortable. Screw tradition
