My Taken King Disk will not read in my Xboxone

So I've had this game for a while, I love it. I have played it off and on. however recently it hasn't been able to read the disk of the game. it keeps saying "please insert game disk". the last time I had this it was with every hard disk game I had, my downloaded games had no problem playing. So I sent my Xbox in, they factory reset it, it was fine. Everything WAS working. but now I'm back at the start where it's not letting my disk read at all. (no scratches no damage on it) so I signed up for the trial, it let's me on and let's me play my character that is maxed out, however it keeps saying it is in trial version and none of the Taken King quest areas are unlocked. Can someone please help me! Thank you.

  • I think you can buy the old vanilla destiny for like $5 on ebay if you own all the digital dlcs

  • Hey Wolfquest7, Even though your disc doesn't look damaged, there seems to be something wrong with it. It's only letting you play the Trial because you need to have the base game to play the entire game. Please purchase the base game again if you are unable to get your disc working.
