Edit: Thanks for all the fun comments, but all in all seriousness don't play it to death and moan that there's nothing to do after a week. You'll only have yourself to blame.
Edit 2: Errrrr mmeehhh ggguuurrrddd. We're trending. Someone said I should put this here to make my post post more authentic.

Darkwire's "Rise of Iron" Prep To-Do List: 1.) Stock up on Sunny D, Tostino's Pizza Rolls, Ginger Ale, Salt & Vinegar Chips, and my favorite deli Chicken Salad. 2.) Make sure TV speakers are at optimal settings. 3.) Purchase new controller and headset. Been needing those anyway. 4.) Join a clan right away, so I'm not locked out of the raid thanks to LFG bullsh*ttery. 5.) Download audio for some of my favorite FPS related memes to my phone. "RULES OF NATURE" is a must. 6.) Actually make some friends. Tried the Solo Scrub life. It sucks. 7.) Download the "Suicide Squad" soundtrack to my phone as well. It's just good. 8.) Set-up a minor workout routine. At least 30 minutes of stretches and sit-ups before I sit down for hours of gaming. My spare tire is no longer cute, and a bachelor needs to stay trim. 9.) Learn how to talk to cute grils online without losing my spaghetti. I work hard for that spaghetti, I'm not dropping it just because you sound attractive, you share at least a couple of my interests, and you're paying attention to...h-hey...ummm...you h-have a b-boyfriend already? 10.) Seriously, A/S/L, nudes plz.

1 ReplyOnly requirement: 1) prepare yourselves for the Thorn era to begin once again.... I'm calling it now. Yes, Thorn has been nerfed, but so has every other primary weapon so now it "seems good" again sadly. And with the flinch of each DOT tick, it's going to be a monster compared to all the other shit-primaries now.

6 Replies🔹Public Events The first Public Event you do per character, per day will give you 5 Motes of Light upon completion(receiving 3 gold stars) every other public event you complete on that same day(before daily reset) will give you 3 Motes of Light 🔹VoG, Crota's End All Ascendant and Radiant materials received in these raids can be traded in for motes at the speaker. You must turn your "Energy" into "Shards" before you can trade them in for motes. Crotas End is a much faster raid that can be Soloed or ran with less than 6 people. 🔹Kings Fall All those chests you skip give up to 5 motes each time they are looted. Might as well grab them if you are running a Fresh raid 🔹Prison of Elders Year1 The chests in the treasure room after completing the year 1 Prison of Elders(any difficulty) can land you a bunch of motes of light (quantity can vary) 🔹Prison of Elders Year2 Same as year one but I think year one gives more. Can't confirm. 🔹Trials of Osiris Redeeming the bounties will land you a ton of motes. Not sure about the lighthouse anymore. Haven't been in a while :( 🔹Turning in any bounties(Vanguard, Queen, Crucible, PoE) Usually these bounties will reward you with Motes. Usually I get 6 motes of light for just turning in all 6 vanguard bounties at once. Turning in bounties also gives you XP which every time you level up will give you 5 motes of light. ALWAYS GRAB VANGUARD BOUNTIES!! They are too easy to complete! 🔹Materials chests on all planets These chests can sometimes drop motes of light on top of the planet materials you get. Can get anywhere from 1 to 3 motes 🔹Dreadnaught The best planetary chests( Hadium Flakes) seem to be the ones in the Hull Breach of the Dreadnaught. Just play as a Hunter and equip your still piercer and the chests will appear on your radar. Make a full circle around the map and they will reappear in the same surrounding areas as before. 🔹Blue Engrams Decrypting blue engrams can always turn into motes. Best way to get blue engrams is to do Court of Oryx. (All tiers) there are plenty of other ways to get engrams. 🔹Crucible/Iron Banner/Strike Rewards Self explanatory 🔹Factions Leveling up any factions (Except Queens Wrath, House Judgement) will give you 4 motes of light each time. 🔹Level Up & Dismantle Rare Armor Not many people know about this but you can earn motes for breaking down rare armor BUT you have to unlock both "circles" first by earning XP. Best way to do this is just to equip blue armor when doing patrols and turning in bounties. If 1 circle is available to "purchase" or really close to it. that's 1 mote. 2 circles get you 2 motes. You don't have to spend glimmer/armor parts/planet materials. Just dismantle the armor and you will get the motes. This might not be worth it if you don't earn a lot of XP 🔹Level Up & Dismantle Rare Weapons Same as Rare Armor. Best weapons are the Heavy Weapons. They don't require that much XP. You can always purchase telementaries from the Gunsmith to make it easier. 🔹Level Up & Dismantle Legendary Armor Similar to rare armor but this also increases how much Legendary Marks you can get. (Up to 5). If you have room in your inventory. Just equip the armor when you turn in bounties. (Make sure you have your max light armor on when redeeming the weekly crucible bounty that gives you an unknown reward). Again, this might take a while. 🔹Level Up & Dismantle LegendaryWeapons Read "Level Up & Dismantle Rare Weapons"
