I'm showing my age here but it was Quake. What a game. And crazy to think I played on a 56k dial up connection.
What was yours?

CoD MW3. People can say what they want about that game, that was my first FPS. I had a great time learning how to get better at FPS games with that game, had some great moments in Survival Mode. However I do greatly prefer Destiny, raids are great but it just needs a horde mode now and custom games and faction wars and for me it would be set.

Destiny for me. PS4 was my first console that connected to Internet. Played several games that were split screen on PS1 and PS2 but I don't count those. Skipped PS3 to raise family.
-
1st Halo on PC

Haha same here I was in my first year of college in a dorm on shitty dorm dial up playing quake. Before that I did play goldeneye and halo on splitscreen and lan, but obviously that wasn't true multiplayer.%
