I don't appreciate you using my forum post without permission please take it down or at least white out my name. If you do not comply I will report your thread.
Thank you for your time.
With warm regards,

huh ? you're daft.
He's posting a related topic. There's a button for that and functionality for that is built into the forums, ergo discussing another person's topic seems to be intentional. Simplifying exactly the parts that are relevant to his assertion I'm the form of a pic is a pretty slick move. It eliminates the need to redirect entirely from his post. It is purely for discussion and isn't in violation of the CoC. In case you want further clarification on the CoC please refer to the following link: https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/121/162456429/0/0
Instead of posting a link to another post, he just showed a picture so that it will be easier to view, its not a violation lmao

I think this is the section you have in mind
To be clear, harassment is prohibited even if you feel the other person deserves it. For this reason, "naming and shaming" suspected cheaters/hackers, "counter-trolling," and attempts to "expose" users that are lying about themselves may all constitute prohibited harassment and result in your removal from this website. Users that attempt to make Bungie.net a hostile or unwelcoming environment for any other user will not be tolerated. If another user offends, annoys, or irritates you, the only appropriate course of action is to ignore him or her, or (if they are violating the CoC) report him or her to the Bungie.net moderating team.
What is a violation of privacy?
A violation of privacy occurs anytime a user publicly exposes information or content about another user without his or her consent. This does not include information readily available by looking at a user's public-facing Bungie.net profile (such as gamertags, basic game stats, profile information and links, etc.) but can include information that is not readily available such as real name, photograph, address, phone number, employer, school, or other personal information (including highly sensitive information such as tax ID or credit card numbers). A user is NOT deemed to consent to having his or her private information posted by you just because he or she posted it previously. In other words, even if the user has already posted private information about himself or herself (such as a picture) on Bungie.net's public forums, you may still be deemed to be violating that user's privacy if you repost it without explicit permission. Use caution and common sense before posting any nonpublic information about another user.
The pertinent part that says there is no violation is: A violation of privacy occurs anytime a user publicly exposes information or content about another user without his or her consent. This does not include information readily available by looking at a user's public-facing Bungie.net profile (such as gamertags, basic game stats, profile information and links, etc.) What the OP has posted is a public forum post. It's free and available for discussion and not in violation of the CoC. Maybe you dislike it, but he's not breaking any rules.

Read the last line.
-
You did and continue to display your gamertag in every post you make. If you are making no effort to conceal your gamertag, how on earth can you honestly think he is violating the CoC outlined above.
-
You mean this line?
This does not include information readily available by looking at a user's public-facing Bungie.net profile (such as gamertags, basic game stats, profile information and links, etc.)
That excplicitly states at information readily available IS NOT PRIVATE and doesn't violate policies regarding privacy.
-
He's not shaming you, so its fine.
-
I don't appreciate it without using my permission and plus he is violating CoC by displaying my gt.
This does not include information readily available by looking at a user's public-facing Bungie.net profile (such as gamertags, basic game stats, profile information and links, etc.)
Your gamertag is readily available by looking at your profile http://i.imgur.com/U9bYm6b.jpg He simply referenced a post with you as the author and it just so happened our Gt is your username. He did not once reference to your gamertag but either way he did not breach CoC as both are public information readily available by looking at your bungie.net profile.
I don't appreciate it without using my permission and plus he is violating CoC by displaying my gt.
Technically, you are displaying your GT, just like I'm displaying my PSN by having it as my user name Secondly, Cozmo is the only one that honestly has a complaint here as he was the one being "shamed" if anyone Lastly, calling people a "kid" in your comments is very childish in itself
-
There was no way to know that was your GT until you confirmed it...just now. Smart move Einstein
-
Just displaying a gamer tag by itself is not ban worthy However, if he is attempting to take credit for your post, impersonate you, or name n' shame you, that is against the CoC If you still have further questions, please find Foman123's Extended CoC for a more in depth guide.
