Please make hunter knife a solar ability
Every time solar ability bounties come up, I always moan that it takes my hunter almost twice as long because the knife doesn't count as a solar kill.

It also doesn't count as a melee, and also only does kinetic damage unless augmented by a perk. We should nerf it.

Edited by Erijian: 7/16/2016 7:12:58 PMI remember them having to put out a patch to make Blink Strike do Arc damage; I've always wondered why they didn't bother making Throwing Knife deal Solar damage in the same patch. Maybe an oversight?

I'm certain there was a patch with patch notes claiming that the throwing knife is now a solar ability. Probably still bugged.

Bump... at least the version with burn DOT should count as a solar ability.

I think many that work at bungie really have something against hunters...I swear. Idk if it got turned around but throwing knives wouldn't even count as a melee kill either
