So I was reading the new "This week in Bungie" or whatever...
And I couldn't help but watch the honorable mention video that was some montage of some dude
so I decided to look at his stats....
Click the link and see for yourself...
72.0, 75.0 and a 76.0 K/D in games of Salvage each sandwhiched inbetween 2 games that are 0.00 K/D
How is this even possible??? You can't even score that many kills in those game modes can you???
His stats look fishy.... that's all I'm saying something doesn't add up
EDIT #1 - I've seen some people say he is most likely stat boosting... IMO stat boosting/cheating is the same thing... I mean a person only cheats to boost.... It's not like a person cheats to try and get the lowest K/D
EDIT #2 - I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this. I just really think stuff like this needs to be brought up. I believe that this is extremely unfair to legit players like myself. I mean I play my ass off to try and do as good as I can. Stuff like this is a slap in the face in my opinion.
Bungie I really believe you should take action on this kid. You put up his montage video on your main page and stuff. This is a slap in the face to us legit players.

Sad to say but Bungie might actually let this go. Doubt they'll put in the effort for a single guy they featured.
-
Wow that's messed up
-
Incompetence seeps from every orifice
-
Bump.
-
Sadly it shows the true state of this game, Bungie and a lot of the community. Bungie supports these cheating mofos and then when it's brought to light they go silent and burry it quick. Sorry but it's the truth.
-
3 Replieslook man his montage was good and it was not a cheat he deserves MOTW in my opinion.
-
Idk why but this is kinda funny. I get that he is ninja but that sentence should never be typed or talked about.
-
1 ReplyWait didn't this happen before? It was some kind of glitch the guy didn't do it on purpose though
-
Suppose each guy on his team have an extra PS4 with an fake character used only for this. Then they close a team with those 3 non used accounts and match with their original ones, each game one original account kills all the fake players for improve their status on destinytracker. It would be like... cheating destinytracker status but not exactly cheating on Destiny, as there is nothing illegal in such fake matchmaking and they are not ruining someone else's experience.
-
Bungie doesn't care more about cheaters. Remember how long it took to do anything about Trials cheaters?
-
Guardians who want to actually attempt to take action please report using the link provided by multiple other posters. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13967 Bump if you have used this service. Have a nice day.

Edited by Moxxis Playtoy: 7/15/2016 6:24:27 PMBet I'd ruin the shots for that montage with my Universal remote. Man I'd love to leave that one salty. :D Yea that K.D sounds impossible. I mean It's possible. but in a match where people are actually playing I doubt no one was able to kill you at least 5 times with that KD ratio.
-
1 ReplyThere was a glitch in year 1 that would credit you with insane amounts of kills in a crucible match. Also, don't forget the glitch in year 2 that caused a crucible match to go on forever. The timer never ran out. Think of all options before starting a witch hunt.
-
this really bothers me

2 RepliesI dont think boosting goes against the TOS tbh. if he is in a fireteam with his friends, playing 3 other friends that are letting him boost, he is not hurting anyone nor is he affecting anyone else's gameplay experience. Yes, it is without a doubt cheap, but its not bannable according to: www.bungie.net/en/help/article/11929
-
Soooo hypothetically; let's say I found someone that had a 75 k/d and in turn created a post naming and complementing this person. Rah, rah...all that nonsense. So if the replies to said post were let's say, not very complimentary.... Would that be name shaming? We see a lot of Uncomplimentary replies daily... but the OP in this hypothetical example wasn't. Hmmmm
-
If that's true, then it was only a few games with his friends where no one would report him. Bungie wouldn't know it was going on. And a ninja even tells you what to do if you want something to happen but the kids on here just want to be mad instead of actually doing anything
-
8 RepliesSurely impossible to get that many kills in ANY game mode
-
8 games in 24 min! This possible!
-
I agree. Bungie and the ninjas will do anything to protect him though.
-
Bump for ban
-
1 ReplyBungies at it's best... Congrats...
-
1 ReplyHow its possible to get 76 kills wth ?bungo supports cheaters btw . Im gona boost my stats too with my friends then
-
If you want to report him for cheating, you can use this: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13967

I havent watched the video but is his montage just him killing the same players/opponents. That to me would be borderline cheating in a way because it would be setup.
