I won't be completing my MoT this year
After looking at what I needed to do to complete the crucible quest line culminating in "The Mountain Top" I was like ........... Meh, can't be bothered

The Mountaintop wasn't that hard. Thought it was more of an introduction to crucible. Either way giving up on the last moment shows you are not trying.

A buddy and I only do Iron Banner and normally can't stand PVP in general. We both gutted it out of boredom and come to find out its a MOT item. lol Take it from me somebody who absolutely hates PVP give it a whirl because it gives you another opportunity at a NightFall level reward running things solo.

I'm not really into crucible outside of clash / control iron banner, but I got it done on this account months ago when bungie blessed us by bugging the weapons master quest so it didn't record the times you got the kills and then made it so we could skip that part. I was stuck on scout rifle kills. Believe me, I was quick to grab the mountaintop quest! Having said that, I did do 90% of the same quest line this weekend on my alt account with my sister and our 10 year old nephew. It was tough at times, but once we got it done we unleashed holy hell in mayhem clash to blow off steam. Felt good to get it done. Just waiting to do elimination. The part of MoT stopping us is the raid. Bungie screwed us over by giving us nothing new to do so my entire raid team left for other games in January. Sucks.

2 RepliesThe hand cannon part was the only one I had problems with, tried TLW thinking I could get that mission done as well but hated the way TLW handles. Switched to Eyasluna and did it easily

I thought I had part of it done last night but now it is demanding i do 2 things in the challenge of elders, screw that. If it had matchmaking it'd for sure be one thing but it's pointless to try and find someone to run with that you know at this point. Everyone's either got new work schedules or left the game.

8 RepliesI won't either I need 1 calcified fragment on my Titan, but I have all 50 across my three characters. So I don't know which one I missing on my Titan. Unless someone knows a method for me to find out which one I need on that specific character.

Emblems aren't better than Be Brave. Not worth it, never gonna use them anyway.

I thought like you at first but decided to give it ago as got nothing else to do until rise of iron I'm at the elimination stage then the final mountaintop quest to do but along the way so far I've leveled crucible twice got a satrienne rapier, Lord high fixer, spare change, ash factory and party crasher whilst doing all the other bits and I don't like pvp much have found it really easy so far. It's a bit time consuming but not that bad

2 RepliesYou have 2 months for the quest, doing one part a day won't kill you. Sorry you're too lazy to complete something that's very simple and easy.

Yeah man. That is the most grueling and lengthy quest in pvp ever known to Destiny. Curse the Traveler that thing is.... Oh wait. We are talking about the new watered down easy one where you need no skill and no wins. Never mind.

Mountaintop is easy, just a bit time consuming. You don't even need to win, just makes it quicker

I completed this entire questline. From start to finish in 7 hours. It is not that difficult, you work on multiple steps of the questline at one time and you dont have to win. Getting all 3 swords took much much longer. This was a piece of cake.
