HEY DEEJ! I did it, will you keep your promise? (Cabal Stomp on Trombone)
So a little while back I made a post saying if a got 500 bumps I would play cabal stomp on my trombone. Deej replied and said this: https://imgur.com/gallery/wWqUw

Edit: first year playing any brass instrument.
Edit: I challenge all of you hating to pick up a random instrument and [i]perfectly[/i] play this with only a day to create it, make the sheet music (you have to do the notes by ear) and play every note perfect.

7 RepliesFantastic, you just did something that so many people wish they could. You grew yourself in a huge way as a musician by transcribing something you hear and then finding out how to play it. Listen and keep transcribing and you'll go far. If you ever want listening recommendation in classical or jazz hit me up. Love talking music.

I think the problem is that you took one day to do it.... I say take more time to make it sound better. I'm not saying it'll sound perfect, but I didn't even recognise the song until I looked it up in another video on YouTube. Keep trying though
