Does anyone else feel like they should buff the defender bubble durability due to the other super's damage increase?
Post Update Edit: It appears that it is still a 2 shot, each dealing 8,000 damage a shot. I'm personally very happy to see that this is the case. Feel free to keep up the discussions everyone. Just make sure to keep it civil. I'm also going to leave the post incase any new onlookers wonder what it was about.
[b][/b]Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with the buffs, they were well needed, but I feel like this will make defender less viable in PvP. As is, it takes 2 shots with golden gun to pop a bubble. With the 50% (80%) increase in damage, it could quite possibly make it a 1 hit. It will also almost guarenteed 1 shot someone inside who is affected by Armor of Light. I feel like a slight increase in durability, maybe 20% - 30%, would be beneficial. Thoughts?
Edit: To clarify, the only thing I think needs a buff is the durability, and that's if and only if Ward of Dawn is too easily destroyed because of the update tomorrow. However, other suggestions and discussions are completely welcome. And please, try to be friendly and respectful towards eachover.

4 RepliesBubble should be a instant cast. There are times when someone is shooting me and i pop my bubble and die. Then when i respawn my super is gone.

I agree and disagree I agree that the bubbles should be buffed I disagree that it would be a bit "op" but seriously a golden gun shot or a nova bomb complete destroys my bubble

I agree. When I saw that all the damage supers were getting buffed I immediately thought the Defender Titan was being left out in the cold. I'd like to see the bubble get a damage boost to supers, and I'd also like to see the Weapons of Light perk effect all damage, not just weapon damage. This would give them slightly more viability with their grenades when the bubble was up, as well as making them that much more potent in PvE and PvP for fellow teammates.

I would add that armor and blessing maybe at a disadvantage when blade dancer is going to be hitting harder now too...

I'm no bubble bro but It definitely needs some love. Needs more hp, impair movement of enemeny if they enter - and i'd love to see it do 80-100 AOE damage when deployed. So it can be used a little more aggressively :)

And remember that the sacred bubble is JUST to dance. A real improvement would be to play a nice track. (It's called style).

Explosions get more kill than extra damage. The only time Hunters will utilize that perk is if they don't have combustion unlocked.

2 RepliesIve always liked the idea of placing a bubble acts like a ultra boss mellee shoving everything away at break neck speeds. Maybe not to kill but enouh to weaken for allies to finish off.

Maybe a slight damage increase, but I feel that a super should destroy a bubble (not sure about the titan inside though, I can't make up my mind). If anything make it last a bit longer to compensate for the other buffs.

I fully agree, as someone who uses defender mostly in PvP. I also think the bubble should last at least 3-5 seconds after death. Simply because half the time I use the bubble, not too long after I have activated it I get killed by whatever and there's my super gone.
