Are the Splicers the origin of the Vex?
Similarities between Splicers (House of Devils Fallen who've taken on the SIVA technological plague) and the Vex:
Glowing red eyes.
Biological technology.
Similar stances.
Splicers are cyborgs, eventually becoming more 'robot' than Eliksni?
There are tall Fallen corrupted by Siva that could become Gatekeepers?
Should they continuously be corrupted by Siva and become more reliant on this tech, could they become what is now known as Vex?

No. Humans created SIVA during the Golden Age. Crota brought the Vex to our dimension when his sisters tricked him into making a tear in spacetime with his sword. Source: I read the entire update notes twice and the lore in The Book of Sorrow.

1 ReplyThe vex are protozoa based, they're the oldest as far as cellular. Not sure who programmed them though. Something from the future used their cellular composition to create the perfect organism.

3 RepliesDidn't it say SIVA was golden age tech? Self replicating nano machines didn't seem unreasonable to develop. But i don't remember everything in the stream or on the website. However SIVA was stated to be nano machines, which when found were spliced with the fallen who found them. Vex are organic with metal bodies

2 RepliesExcept the biological part of the Vex is prehistoric bacterial Ike organisms. Also, the Vex didn't exist or even know about our time line until Crota ripped open a hole letting them in.

I think the foundation is there if Bungie wants to go that way, or maybe even spin it into something bigger and maybe make the "architects" more of a presence then a joke on the death screen
