Haven't done it for a month now.
Edit: As of June 08 the thread is still active and we're still getting responses from many forumers that they had stopped doing the raid and that the game is stale. If Bungie is reading, you might want to consider bringing out some temporary activities (like srl) while we wait for the next dlc

2 RepliesI've gotten all the gear I want from it minus the hard mode shader. (Yay, more double RNG.) but I still play the y1 raids. A. Because they're fun and you can easily tell kinderguardians how to do it. B. The gear was actually worth getting.
-
I only play from Golgoroth to Oryx now. I don't need anything from the totems or Warpriest, since everything they can drop is already 335. I'd like a few more 335 armor pieces or primary weapons, so those are the only 2 bosses I bother with. I figure after the next Oryx challenge, I should have all the 335 items I need and won't bother other than if friends need someone.
-
It's been a month for me too
-
Tonight should be my last KF raid for some time. I have had all my characters at 335 light since week three after the last update. I have only been doing it for two reasons. To get all my gear to 335 light and to get to 100 raid completions which I did last night.
-
Haven't done it in over 3/4months I think, it's a waste of time
-
Me unless I have nothing to Do I'll go in and help the people on my friends list.
-
I haven't done raid in a long time. I am really tired of putting in the effort to find a time. I'm 335 from just ToO, IB, PoE, and CoE
-
No point in it really.. Not that hard to get to 335
-
My clan isn't raiding anymore and since I play without a mic, I don't want to search for random teams.
-
Unless you're playing with a team of friends there's no point
-
I stopped raiding around February but over the last couple of weeks been playing some more destiny, last week did a whole raid and an oryx checkpoint, last night got to oryx. it was really nice to take a good break from destiny, it was getting really really stale but jumping on with old buddies and smashing out a raid has been good fun. don't think i'd ever lfg it for a raid group anymore though
-
Did it 3 times, haven't touched it since. It's more of a burden than an enjoyment. I'm 335 anyways now so

Only done it about 5 times total, still not killed oryx on hard mode. Just can't be bothered with the hassle. Nothing in the raid is worth it.
-
Challenge mode sometimes when I need a 335 of the possible gear that is offered that week. Otherwise I don't do that, or COE anymore. Too many bad drops wasn't worth the time, especially since I got burnt out on it.
-
Only raids i do are VOG and CE.
-
I stopped trying seriously to get into or put groups together in November or December The gear is so bad Getting max light gear was such a hurdle I hit 315ish and stopped trying because it was good enough
-
I do it when people want to. I don't do it when people don't want to. .........

2 RepliesKing's Fall was never fun. It was, however, the only path to max level. Now, there are many paths to max level. Since it isn't fun, the gear should be great, right? Nope. King's Fall gear is trash. The only Raid item worth getting is Qullim. Every other item has a better version at the Cryptarch. The best gear should come from the raid or events. Every single weapon from the raid or events should be significantly better than anything from the Cryptarch, and a bit better than anything from the factions. So, no fun, no gear, why do people still play King's Fall? The rest of the game is pretty fun though. The Challenge grants better gear than King's Fall (I've seen some great SoulStealer rolls). It's pretty annoying that they decided to make it even more repetitive, but the gear is good. We need more strikes in the rotation, so I've given up on those due to unnecessary repetitiveness. It's always funny to me when I LFG and when we're playing they ask, "Hey, after this do you want to do the Raid?" I always say, "I don't raid". But the truth is, I don't play boring raids, or raids that don't grant good gear. King's Fall qualifies for both of those, Atheon and Crota qualify for bad gear (due to Bungies poor decision making abilities). So no, I don't do the raid.
-
Pretty much stopped and can't do it for fun since there are a lot of new people doing it, which usually decreases success and increases annoyance
-
Edited by WulfPak666: 6/8/2016 1:10:17 PMHaven't done Kings Fall in almost a month, but a friend of mine is still grinding Necrochasm to complete his exotic list. Been running Crota 3x a week for almost a month and a half. Still no crux for him though. :'(
-
I haven't run the raid for awhile now. Only night falls and Coe.
-
The raid is for noobs that want the easy way to 335. Yeah I said it.
-
My team stopped playing the raid I used to play it more than 3 times/week ( so the entire clan can loot) Don't actually care about the loot ,,, I would still plan it for fun ,, if my clan is ever back at it LFG is not usually fun
-
Same, I ran it a few times after the update to get closer to 335. No point now when you have all Exotics and Raid Weapons.. Oh and 335 on all characters. PvE is dead once again :/
-
1 ReplyI have only done it once or twice since the release of the April update and yet I'm 335. I'm now a main pvp player since I find it more fun than pve.
