I've had too many Fists of Havoc - with Unstoppable on - denied by a mere roll of the dice.
I don't know if you've google defined "unstoppable" yet, but I have to tell you, being stopped sure doesn't seem like that's the gist of it, y'know what I mean? [Kappa]
This happens not only in random Lobbies in your typical playlists, but also in Trials of Osiris.
Any and every Super can be denied by a Frontal Backstab glitching out. It's wonky.
Not to mention it's become uncommonly frequent. It happens at least once a day I play PvP*.
*Hyperbole, obviously. But it seemed like that weekend was a magnet for bullshit...
It's a complete train wreck, sitting there activating so many raw powers, only to be denied by someone's Melee of all things. And not just denied, but killed in return. It's preposterous. Not even Suppressors are this broke or consistently used to deny a Super and kill it in one-shot in competitive/multiplayer gameplay.
You disabled the Quiver node when that got broken and abused. You have the capacity to at least neuter this bug and prevent it from skewing competitive play. You have the responsibility to prevent this bug from influencing PvP in a negative manner. You have shown you will exercise this responsibility in dire circumstances, where a fix is nowhere in sight but the problem is intrinsic to the gameplay so as to be considered 'meta'.
And believe me, everyone in PvP knows about this exploit and is abusing it if they're a Bladedancer. Every time I Super near a Hunter they attempt to use the exploit. Whether or not it works is entirely situational, but when it does it's complete bullarky.
But you don't act... might we at least ask why you haven't yet? Why you think letting Bladedancers run around as a menace in the Crucible is 'working as intended' for most of you?
I'm guessing it's because hit detection is botched to start, but that affects Shoulder Charge and Titan Melee too, not to mention Warlocks. Why is it okay to leave this one perk utterly broken, even if you think the hit detection makes it infrequent enough to be ignored?
