So Fallout 4 originally was going to have multiplayer, and Bethesda even built it, but ultimately it was not implemented.
So, with mods coming out soon, and console mods not that far away, is there anyway a mod/mod combo bring us multiplayer?
Please give an answer for PC and console (I.e. Yes for PC, No fit console , and so on)
Edit: If yes (to either) would that require making your own server or just coding/modding alone? Assume a 2 player multiplayer for simplicity

They did it with just cause two i dont see why not. Vats would really be the only deal breaker.

1 ReplyI mean, someone did it for Skyrim. Which is pretty cool.

Mods like that need to match up on both ends, what you're looking for is doable.. but highly unlikely. There will no doubt be various mods for it, but they aren't the issue. The game will be incredibly shitty if the 2 people playing don't have nearly identical mods installed, way too many different things running for anything to be smooth or enjoyable.

I mean, somebody made an MMO out of an emulated copy of Pokemon Fire Red, so it's not impossible. I'd say it's highly unlikely though.

2 RepliesThere has been multiplayer mods before so at a guess yes but not for console It tends to be a case of all players need the same mods and from what I've played other players take control of followers So far I've done splitscreen with my sis on NV, two runs on Skyrim with a buddy and gave Skyrim online (MMO) a go

1 ReplyOkay, some clarification here. MP was never intended to be in Fallout 4. Yes, they did try it, but decided against it, and stick to making a great single player game.

1 ReplyBethesda hates PC . Good luck with that. And no , you just can't 'add ' multiplayer . Takes a bit of coding etc
