I've had this idea (as I'm sure many have with the introduction of melee swords) for a while now but haven't had the time to post it here. I'm sure many will say this weapon might be OP but I feel it would still make for some interesting game play... Weapon Type: “Sword” It would be the Dark Blade’s Axe Weapon Name: Dark Blade’s Revenge Quote: “Even in death, you will know my wrath.” The Bladed Hand: This weapon sits in the Primary slot Main Perk: Dark Blade’s Revenge – Unleash a torrent of arc, solar or void energy (based on current subclass in use) that spreads out causing AoE damage like a Titan’s Aftermath. Additional Perk: Hit R2 to unleash a subclass based elemental attack in three swings – one to the right, then left finishing with a “ground pound” strike (this final strike could do AoE damage but for the sake of balance it should have to be a selected perk, meaning you can get the AoE effect but at the expense of, say, the amount of “ammo” you could have or losing a small portion of health. This would obviously be a close range melee weapon suited for those that like “in your face” combat.
