Been playing for 18 months and I still find...
caves on patrol I've never been in before. I know... who still patrols right? But I do. It's relaxing. I usually farm materials rather than buy them from the quartermaster cause I enjoy patrol. But I always feel good when I come across a cave I've never been in before and surprised because I thought I had found them all in year 1.
I wish Bungie would put good drops in random chests in patrol world. I wouldn't mind at all hunting for them as an alternative way to rank up. Imagine getting a legendary or exotic from a random patrol chest in some obscure cave on one of the planets. We need a spelunking quest line!

3 RepliesYou know that little platform overlooking the Hellmouth where a few Acolytes usually hang out? The chasm behind it up into the ridge has three chest spawn locations.

Same....I've been playing nightstalker with keen scout. I'm finding caves that I've been walking by for a year.

I've got a few legendary engrams while looting chests out on patrol. My best luck has been in the cosmodrome. I always think I'll get something good in Venus patrol but I usually dont.

I love going out on patrol. I agree with the chest idea. They should be bright purple aswell.

1 ReplyPatrol is by far my favourite thing to do when I play by myself. I sometimes hoard bounties on my alts during the week and then Saturday afternoon... A long patrol session. So relaxing. It would be nice if there would be more to discover. I would love to find some audio records in chests that tell some stories. Maybe some dead ghosts that tell what their guardians where up to in this area. I don't even want to have rewards like guns or armour. Just some tiny little more exploring. I'm glad they boosted the rep for patrol. Makes it so worthwhile again.

1 ReplyReally? That's pretty rare for myself. Pretty sure I found all of them in vanilla destiny when you had to farm for hours and hours just to upgrade your gun fully.

I agree, I spend a lot of time in patrol too. Seems weird to find some hidden cave that looks like it should have something in it, but it's just an empty cave.

Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith so powerful and so wise, he could use the Force to influence the midi-chlorians to create...life. He had such a knowledge of the Dark Side, he could even keep the ones he cared about...from dying. He became so powerful, the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power...which, eventually of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew. Then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death...but not himself.
