Do you respect shotgun rushers?
What's your opinion on people who ONLY use shotguns to get most of their kills? Once again what's your OPINION on the subject. Be as disrespectful as you want in your opinion on shotgun users if you choose to

I don't mind them generally as I'm a fusion user and they're likely dead before they get to me.

I find them to be a breath of fresh air compared to the people whom are to concerned about their K/d to ever switch off a sniper rifle.

It's a viable tactic. I don't touch shotguns, but I'm not going to cry about people using them.

Anyone who beats me without cheating, good for them. Some tactics might be annoying as hell but they've figured out what works for them so more power to them. I switch up my weapons and gear rather frequently myself, just depends on the map and what my opponents are using. I'm not great at crucible but I'd like to be decent with all weapon types and tactics because what's good changes sometimes, also being diverse is more fun than just using the same stuff all the time IMO.

They've nerfed the weapon class to high five range, I used to hate the shot package corner campers but honestly at this point in destiny if you can go crazy wth a shot gun that isn't universal remote mixed with a skating twilight garrison juggernaut Titan then it's your own fault for dying lol. I've loved the chaperone lately and it's a joy to use, shuts down people so fast so long as you get the head shots

They are annoying and make me switch to a fushion rifle (plan c usually) so I can melt them before they get in range.

The people that run around with just a shotgun, no. People that use their primaries a lot, but when confronted with 2-3 players, are able to pull out a shotgun and take them all out, yes.

It's better than hard scoping certain area's of maps. If they (the shotgun user) can get up to you, without you noticing that red block on your map getting closer the problem is yours. It can get frustrating just like the shoulder charge, but nice fusion or side arm can stop that being a big issue.

I don't get why shotgunning still gets the majority of the hate. They nerfed them so bad that you have to practically kiss your opponent to get the kill. Seeing as shotguns have always been my playstyle, it really sucks. I used to be able to compete on level with a sniper, now I'm noticing even more lately that they just run away.
