Do you respect shotgun rushers?
What's your opinion on people who ONLY use shotguns to get most of their kills? Once again what's your OPINION on the subject. Be as disrespectful as you want in your opinion on shotgun users if you choose to

I mean I only use shotguns in crucible plus whatever primary but I usually don't have that problem the problem is jump shotguning

It can get annoying if everyone is doing it, but they have a system that works well. It's not OP and it's a good way to shorten the distance to get a good shot.

6 RepliesNo respect, especially if they're blinking around or using juggernaut. I'd have some respect if the game didn't have a sprint mechanic, but it's so easy to get close in this game that using a shotgun takes no skill. You can teleport around until you get right beside them, look in their general direction, and get an easy kill. Not to mention the whole slide, shoot, and melee maneuver. I know I'm living in the past, but if it were a slower paced game like the old halo games it would be more respectable. In all the run and gun, fast paced shooters with multiple 1 hit kill methods that dominate the market now, the skill gap has been almost closed entirely in favor of casual gamers. Shotguns have been made so easy to use that I can't respect their use. Just my opinion though. Still love the game.

Easy to counter so not so bad when I run a shotty its more defensive but I run fusions these days I find my playstyle better suited to them.

Ran Universal Remote today, just doing bounties on my titan (main a warlock), having a laugh, messing around and every match got a hate mail message, wasnt even playing well with it, not my usual style of play, so would say people really don't like it! Infact some kids were getting real upset about it.

3 RepliesRushing an enemy while they fire at you, requires a level of skill achieved through experience, as well as creative dodging and use of cover, doubly so if there is more than one enemy, so I respect anyone who can pull it off

Normal rushers yes, but people that use blink to close the gap between us no, absolutely no respect for them, especially when they use the conspiracy theory douche.

These are the people that see you down a corridor on any map, and instead of using a primary, they just rush you. And they fail because you are just loading them with your primary. The people that only move when they shadestep/blink/TG and use shotguns. And if they end up in a bad situation, they just run and run and run and run till they find a corner. Then they sit there forever. However, I have to say; I'm more tolerable of buckshot warriors than of the boring, monotonous *snores* campers.

If they're a Titan that isn't using Juggernaut, marginally. If they're a Warlock or a Hunter, noooope.

Yeah, it takes good primary skill to be a really good rusher because unlike the kids camping in spawn with snipes. You need primary skill to be a top tier shotgunner. Movement skill and hand eye coordination. See kids like Turdn, remersed who run with smoke as they shotty and even Wish you luck. Other people as well I haven't mentioned but you get the point
