Bonus ammo on armor is a joke now. Alternative solution to ammo problem
After playing this update, which for the most part I have found to be fantastic, this ammo adjustment Bungie made is just beyond annoying. From running out of special ammo during dps phase of warpriest, the inconsistency of ammo drops, and extremely small amount of ammo my snipers can carry now. It just frustrating. 13 rounds is max for my Eriene RR4. 13 really? but the worst part is the uselessness of carry more ammo for snipers and LMG's. My blackspindle with this perk could carry a whopping 2 extra rounds in reserve. 2....... As for my LMG from the raid it was only 10 rounds. I cant recall my Eriene RR4 number but it wasnt good. But this is ridiculous. How can u justify punishing pve players for the complaints and balancing issues plaguing pvp. Its not our damn fault and we want nothing to do with pvp. Look Bungie I get that ur trying to dumb down people using snipers only for entire matches in pvp but this was an extremely bad way to go about fixing that.
Here's a simple solution. Return ammo capacity back to what it was and for pvp just make it so that special ammo crates and heavy crates grant less ammo. Pve players aren't pissed and pvp players will rely more on primary if they have only 6 rounds for their sniper till the next crate drops. I just assume snipers cause my god thats all I see still. I will admit I do see some fusions but its still a sniper dominate world in pvp.
