So a while back I saw on the forums a post and people were talking about the meaning of LDR 5001 the old vanguard sniper rifle and a couple people were saying it basically means Long Distance Relationship and the 5001 is kind of funny because restraining orders are typically 5000 yards away from a person, so 5001 means they are sitting as close as they can be with a restraining order. Haha just thought that was pretty funny and I'd share it.
Okay perhaps it was 5000 ft not yards some people are getting upset and I don't want to hurt their feelings, I think they'd rather me complain about nerfing a weapon.

I recently got one to drop with Hand-Laid Stock and near-max stability. It's great for PvE and absolutely shreds Fallen Walkers and Strike bosses. If it had Spray and Play instead of Grenadier, it would be just about perfect.

34 RepliesMoral of the story: If you knew this was immediately wrong because basic knowledge of distance told you that three miles was too large a restraining order......you are smart. If you knew this was immediately wrong because you knew the actual distance of a restraining order......you need to reevaluate your life. If you read this and didn't notice the error........you are probably planning on voting for Trump or Sanders in November. If your first thought was "I still use my LDR", you are the real winner here.

Nope 5000 foot is almost a mile and quite literally unenforceable. Average restraining order is something like 300-500 feet.

4 RepliesThey were very clever naming gear in this game. I always liked the hand cannon TFWPKY 1969. The Fall Will Probably Kill Ya! It's a reference to the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid that came out in 1969. Originally, I thought it was a reference to the fall at the beginning of Crota. My friends and I messed with each other every time making that jump.
