2 RepliesI don't think class items or anything else contributing to light level is the issue. The issue is infusion not being 100%. If 100% infusion then anyone can infuse anything and wear it. Why should I have to put 2 310s into a 300 to make it 310 or 2 320 items into a 310 to make it 320?

No they shouldn't that's what made them so great you weren't forced to wear a cloak or bond or mark you didn't like

Edited by TRDoug: 3/17/2016 1:48:24 PMGhosts too.......perks and light removed, all they do is provide a small amount of customization.......unless I'm getting shot in the back and my hunter cloak is made of 10 layers of Kevlar there's no armor benefit to them so they should not contribute to how much light we have. They're just another way bungie forces more grind. They should ALL be affected by shaders too!

People who don't want the light on it but want the perks on it still are -blam!-ing stupid. Yes more 320s need to drop. No. There should not be 100% infusion. Yes the game shouldn't be this big of a grind. No. They shouldn't just hand out 320

It wouldn't be an issue of class items dropped at an advantageous level more often.

You should be able to infuse the class items light level into your character level, that way you can switch cool looking gear around without worrying about your level dropping

Given the rep buffs that come with them NO. I like swapping between them for function and esthetics plus the low chance on max light drops makes it a pain to use one per situation. I just leveled up the IB ones and the rest just sit at a lower light.

Cosmetic items should never contribute to your overall light level or stats. It ruined the diversity we players had in our looks. Now everyone looks the same yet again. This again plays into the whole making year one stuff irrelevant. I have a bunch of class items and gear I'd like to wear but they suck light level and stat wise.

i think they should count for light level, but they should also add a bonus to them so that they can be infused (with cost for 2 light or without cost for 1 light) into any item (on the class it's for only) to take the items light level up by one light or two light per infused class item, so there is at least a use for them after finding a max level class item.

Neither should ghost but you know... grind. Also I doubt they'll remove it now that they implemented it because people already wasted their time on it for a 320

In my opinion armor is the only thing that should effect the light level, i hate to have light on weapons its just dumb since there is so many that i wanna use in a raid
