But sometimes it's a selfish worrying, like many parents may say they are open-minded and don't care about peoples' sexual preferences, but might have a picture in their mind of giving their daughter away at a wedding to a man, or having grandkids (not that gay couples don't have kids nowadays). So some parents become obsessed with fears that one of their kids might be gay, so it is possible your mom is constantly asking these questions because of these fears (fair or not).

I honestly didn't even notice how few girls there are in Destiny til I was playing with a group of guys and one mentioned how I was one of only two girls he'd ever played with on Destiny. To be honest, I usually like playing with guys more. I know a couple girls I really like, but I've also played with some really annoying ones.

The struggle is real. Moms want girly daughters, it's just a thing. However female gamers are out there and growing in numbers.

I play with some girls from time to time. They are both competent and fun to play with. I hear there are clans on Destiny that are comprised entirely of girls that play the game. Maybe try one of them if you want some other girls to game with? P.S. as far as I know, neither of the girls I play with regularly are gay and they play mostly with guys too.
