So here's the situation. I'm not doing good in school. I am trying, but I just can't seem to do it. I know I won't be able to go to college with my marks, and that will lead to not having a good job. I get that, and it already sucks. It's one thing to know that, but it's another when your dad, who's supposed to be the biggest supporter in your life, straight up told me I'm not gonna become anything. It's even worse knowing that he never went to college, and I don't even know if he graduated highschool. Sorry for the rant, I just needed to get it off my chest. EDIT: My dad has been through a lot. His dad was a drug addict, and his brother died in a car accident. Saying anything to my dad other than "I told you so" is out of the question. EDIT: Thanks for the support guys! So far a lot of people are saying to either get a trade or join the military. I think I'm gonna join the military, and try learning a trade through them, like a military electrician or something.
